she wasnt impossible to read, they were just refusing to read her as anything but scum, there were good scumreads that day which didnt consider des as scum.
This is all in retrospect now though, of course we can say that the people scumreading her are wrong now that we know she is town, sure you can look back and say “this was a good scumlist that didnt have des as scum” but in this game how do you plan to determine des’ alignment when you don’t know who is what alignment
Yes, but the latest game I've even perceived was Lumiose Legends. And I don't remember there being any major issues with her around then.
I also just don't want to be hard pushing an alleged LHF slot on Page 2 before they've even posted, y'know.

she had a great game last time. she was voted out because town stopped caring -- i.e. lost all their WIM -- so they just followed the loudest voices in the room which were the scum. it was town misplay this time around unfortunately

Main reason I've been gone is 'cause the district blocked Smogon, but since it's winter break I can probably afford to play this.

I also gotta say that this is a dangerous question, you can infer if someone knows the setup based on how they respond to this if they're not careful enough. And that helps mafia more than town, so id say that we should maybe leave this query to minimum d3 if we do not have any real suspects.
I'll expand my point since I dont think that I've specified enough reason. Let's say that someone with a Towny Role wants to answer that question, people have a subsconcious tendency to specify the things that they know and disregard the things that they dont, so someone with a role would specifically make better points and strategys for the setup that is happening and on the contrary, someone without a role would make equal points for all of them. And mafia could just watch and see which townies acted the most suspicious to kill them and get the one who has a meaningful role.
so to keep the day going forward with actual information, I suggest another question.
If des were town, is the mafia trying to push her or are they just watching?
or if des were mafia, is the mafia trying to defend her?
Based on my observations there are 3 sides
Pushing des: Evie and Miyami
Defending Des: Imaginary Neon, Celever and Peum
Watching: Geniusx (I cant say they've defended her just making one post) and everyone else.
We'll see more people join one side or the other after they wake up but right now its like this.

unfort des is a slot where you are (by default) totally agnostic about if they die as a scumbud. While she's alive make her carry the kills because it doesn't really matter if she gets caught, and if she starts getting voted out join the wagon around mid-way through
it's not a slot that scum would feel a need to defend in the current threadstate because there's no signs of this becoming a legitimate wagon. it is a slot you might push as a scumbud early D1 to distance, knowing the policy probably wouldn't be taken seriously so there's no risk, but it's likelier the pushers are just town foreseeing a challenging game of trying to read her
set-up talk doesn't have to be off the table
looking at the setup I think masons or innocent child should claim if they exist tbh. when we eval the info we both start with
- scum start with knowledge that it's one of 3 setups or one of 2 setups based on the roles they have
- VTs start with knowledge it's one of 5
- follower / tracker / jailkeeper start with knowledge it's one of 3 but can't share that they know this
- masons / innocent child / doctor start with knowledge it's one of one, who can share it
Obviously we can't have our doc outing themself bc they're a doc so they can't claim, but the only purpose of masons and inno child is to claim in-thread and be proven town. Scum already starts with the info advantage so if we can remove that info advantage by all of us just knowing what setup we're in it's a net gain for town
And it's an even netter gain because either way we get one or two conftowns and a protective role who's likely to protect them. This is essentially a follow the leader setup if it's 1 or 5
The point is that des isnt being pushed as mafia, as opposed to being pushed as a mafia member, so it gives leeway for mafia members to defend her and not risk a lot. Evidently you would want your mafia partner to not be pushed for no reason at all, and everyone thats defending her isnt that suspicious.
Yeah, like obviously the guy who's played 11 games on the most LHF gimmick imaginable isn't going to be the most receptive to the idea of pushing someone (who hasn't even posted) just for being LHF on Page 1.
