Translation in French

Good evening,

I would like to subject an idea to you. I belong to a community of French players, and I would like to have a play completely translated into French. I am also programmer. Thus if you are of agreement, I would wish to translate the source code of Shoddy Battle into French, and that you compile it.

Are you of agreement for me help on this project?

Source Code is always English, its the output text that has to change.

I know Shoddy2 will have alternate language support (by changing a text file), but I don't know about the original...sorry.
 
Shoddy is an open source software so you can translate almost all the software by parsing all the folders and changing the text which appears on your server. It's tedious to do but it's possible.

However, the builder will remain in English. You've to change the .db files in order to change this. With SB2, it's more simple. If you watch the subject about SB2, you'll find the files which can already be translated.
 
Since the programmers are working on Shoddy Battle 2, there won't be any new updates for Shoddy Battle (1). If you want a French version of Shoddy Battle, you'll have to wait for Shoddy Battle 2 to come out. If it's true Shoddy Battle 2 is multiple languages, then there is your French version. If not, I think that the programmers wouldn't mind that you want to help creating a French version
