Alright I've used this team in a small tournament and did fairly well, but I would like some advice on if I am missing something that could make it better, as well as if there are any mons that could be replaced by better mons (possibly from the new gen). Forgive me if I am terrible at explanations in the write ups. So far I am using.
Bronzong @ Mental Herb
Levitate
252 HP / 152 Atk / 8 Def / 96 SpD
Sassy
-Trick Room
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic
-GyroBall
Current Lead, Trick room first, Stealth Rock Second, then switch to whoever is needed most. Toxic is there if it is needed for a wall, Gyro ball in case he gets taunted or is left and needs something for direct damage.
Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed
-Trick Room
-Night Shade
-Pain Split
-Will-O-Wisp
Back up Trick Roomer. This guy has been very hard for opponents to take down. Sets up Trick Room, Burns, and switches to whichever sweaper would be best unless Night Shade will take the other guy down, or they are SpA based. Night Shade because the other options (Shadow Sneak, and Shadow Punch) really didn't seem to do comparable damage with his EV Spread. Pain Split for if he is low on life, or he just KO'd someone and could use a boost
Renuclius @ Life Orb
Magic Guard
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet
-Trick Room
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
Offensive Trick Roomer. Haven't tested him yet, he replaced a Claydol that didn't seem to do much more then set up Trick Room and die, possibly getting a move off or exploding. Psychic over Psyshock because If the opponent has something that is resistant to all three moves, they usually have a lower SpD than Def. I think that was my reasoning. Life Orb because he has magic guard.
Machamp @ Lum Berry
No Guard
252 HP/ 252 Att / 4 Def
Naive
-Stone Edge
-Payback
-Bullet Punch
-Dynamic Punch
Trick Room sweaper #1. No Guard with Dynamic punch because it's a good idea. Payback for ghosts, Stone edge for coverage, and Bullet Punch for when Trick Room ends and he needs a little bit more damage. I honestly can't remember why he has a Naive nature, it probably should be Brave.
Octillary @ Expert Belt
Sniper
252 Hp / 252 SpA / 4 Def
Quiet
-Surf
-Energy Ball
-Ice Beam
-Fire Blast
Trick Room Sweaper #2. Moves are there for coverage, Surf over Scald because I'd rather have the extra power on him vs the burn chance. Expert belt because he generally has something to cause super effective damage.
Marowak @ Thick Club
Rock Head
252 HP / 252 Att / 4 Def
Brave
-Stone Edge
-Double-Edge
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch
Trick Room sweaper #3. Designed to just hit things. He is generally good at getting a 2HKO at least, usually OHKO though has been my experience. The moves are just there for coverage. Thick Club because it is a Marowak
Essentially as a playstyle Bronzong is the lead, Trick Room first then Stealth Rock, Mental Herb to prevent taunt before the Trick Room. Then switch to whoever is best vs the opponent, and play situationally from there.
The main guy that I'm wanting to replace is Machamp, or at least he's my least favorite. The other guys I've had very good experience with, especially the Marowak. The guys I was looking at as potential replacements were Druddigon, Conkeldurr, Escavlier, Aggron, and Ramparados. I also keep looking at Porygon 2 as a replacement Trick Roomer. But the other guys seem to have a good synergy with the sweapers that I'm not really sure if the set up guys need replacing at all.
