Trick room team

Hi guys, It's cxrtmxn. I used to play a lot, and I've been away from pokemon since late 4th gen. I've only been back for 2 weeks, and I want to get better. I threw together a trick room team and have been swapping pokes as I go, and this is the best team I have found. Tell me if I need anything changed. Help would be appreciated!

Bronzong @ Normal Gem
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Trick Room
- Explosion
- Earthquake

This is an incredible lead. He can take a hit from all leads but fire. I use him to easily bait a Heatran switch-in. Gyro Ball and EQ can put a decent amount of damage into most poke's, and I try to save him until late game to Explode the big threats.

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 108 HP / 72 Def / 252 SAtk / 76 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Stealth Rock

I usually try to use this to remove those dang dragons from the game. He can take most dragon type hits, and counter with HP Ice. I try to switch him in on all poke's that are known for raping teams with fire-type moves, such as Infernape and Volcarona. Fire blast is for a strong STAB.

Slowbro (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Slack Off
- Scald
- Psychic

Slowbro can easily take a hit from some of the game's fiercest sweepers. I use him to get a trick room up after I have lost all hope. He mostly stalls his way to burning a poke with scald, then slacks off and lets burn do the trick.

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip
- Aerial Ace
- Curse

This thing is a beast once all poke's with fire type moves are out of the game. It can easily sweep half of a team WITHOUT Trick room up. A few curses, and its Gyro Ball is only stopped by the sneaky HP Fires.

Porygon-Z @ Wise Glasses
Trait: Download
EVs: 88 HP / 84 Def / 252 SAtk / 84 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Nasty Plot

Poygon-Z in trick room? lol wut?... He actually functions very well. I made him slower than most pokes, but faster than most Trick Room poke's. After a few Nasty Plot, he can do a decent amount of damage even to the bulkiest of blisseys. He's a great counter for Celebi and Jirachi after he gets set up.

Reuniclus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 192 HP / 64 Def / 252 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

He has excellent type coverage, that NASTY stab psychic, and great stats, and horrible speed. He's a monster in trick room. Usually, this is the star of my team.

My main goal with this team is to get the trick room up and then remove anything that is a threat to Ferrothorn, Bronzong, and Reuniclus. After that, these 3 pokes can do an incredible amount of work on even the most OverUsed OU poke's.

Okay Okay slow down. First off you have 4 Trick Roomers which is too much on a Trick Room Team.
Second PoygonZ is too fast on a Trick Room Team with a base 90 speed.

Third you don't have any True Sweepers on your team. Ferrothorn is for Defensive. U need switch to Emboar, Scizor, Swampert, Ramp, Metagros, etc. something else besides him.
On Trick Room teams you need Trick Roomers which yu have, but youo need powerful sweepers. My suggestion swith base power of 105 and up, with a lot of bulk. Like Rhyperior.

Brave Nature
Solid Rock @ Life Orb
~ Earthquake
~ Rock slide
~ Megahorn
~ Protect

Good with Slowbro, nice defensive wall. Nothing to say about him. Same with my favorite pokemon Reuniclus. Good set.

Alright I see you haven't taken note of some new little stuff in Gen 5. First of all, explosion sucks this Gen, since it doesn't cut the opponents defense in half, meaning it has half the power, thus I suggest replacing Explosion with Stealth Rock on Bronzong. With this in mind, we can free up a move slot with Heatran.

Since TR has a limited number of turns, you want to make the most of it. Set-up moves aren't very good in TR, since they waste a turn and you will have this situation happen: TR setup+switch+setup-move. What a second, you just wasted 3 out of 5 turns in TR. That is why you don't want setup sweepers in TR and its one of the reasons Reuniclus is so good (doesn't need setup beside TR). Thus, the two pokes on the chopping block are Ferrothorn and Porygon-Z.

Ferrothorn is unneeded because Brongzong already has Gyro Ball covered. In replacement of Ferrothorn I suggest two different options (both are kinda weird): Tank Torterra or Life Orb Escalvilier

Both take Ferrothorn place in different ways. Escalivier has similar typing to Ferrothorn and can take hits very well. 9/10 times you'll just be spamming Megahorn (NWO's words, not mine :p) Megahorn is his strongest attack and with Life Orb you will reach Swarm. Swarm gives you godly power with this guy and to show you the power he can 2hko scizor with megahorn under swarm (4x resist).

Escavalier @ Life Orb
Swarm
Brave
252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
- Megahorn
- Return
- Iron Head
- Pursuit

Torterra like Ferrothorn offers a very strong STAB Grass attack. It functions the same way that Escalivier does in that Wood Hammer takes you down into Overgrow range where you will really kick ass. Obligatory EdgeQuake provides great coverage and let's you deal with Flying types. The last slot is up for grabs. Superpower let's dispatches Ferrothorn easily, but limits your sweeping potential. Idk what Ferro would do back though since all he can do is set up hazards while you kill him with STAB Earthquake while blocking Leech Seed. Synthesis drops the coverage to recoup the recoil from Wood Hammer in case and give you another chance to sweep, but it's kinda unreliable with all the weather going around (good luck weather facing Tort STAB's). The EV;s are what I came up with, but I am sure they can be streamlined to get you into Swarm/Overgrow range more easily.

Torterra@Leftovers
Overgrow
Brave
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Rock Slide
- Synthesis / Superpower

Both make excellent partners with Heatran since they attract fire moves for him to absorb, Heatran also resists Ice Torterra hates. Stealth Rock should become Dragon Pulse and Hidden Power should become Grass (although if you run Tort run Ice and a move of your choice: Flash Canon, Metal Sound, Taunt)

Meanwhile, Porygon-Z should be replaced with a Scarfer to revenge kill threats once outside of TR, you never know what happens and could go wrong. With the introduction of MoxieMence, I would check it out since it offers great coverage and looks like an awesome failsafe for a sweep lategame with no TR. Oh, this is Choice Scarf MoxieMence. Depending on whether you run Escalvilier or Torterra, you will run Earthquake or Brick Break respectivly.

Name: Choice Scarf
Move 1: Outrage
Move 2: Earthquake / Brick Break
Move 3: Fire Blast
Move 4: Dragon Claw
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd

If you can't use that since the scripts weren't updated, use Choice Scarf Hydreigon as a placeholder. He doesn't have the staying power of Salamence, but his U-turn will make bringing in your TR set-uppers easier. (Lol I feel cheap recommending this twice).

Hydreigon@ChoiceScarf
Trait: Levitate
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
- Draco Metoer
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- U-turn
