The Process
Sableye was chosen from me because I wanted a strong defensive Pokemon to give a twist to my usual HO teams. I wanted to annoy the crap out of my opponent by using a Pokemon that does well in both forms of Mega and non-mega. I noticed a I had a fairy weakness only and thought of choosing a steel type right away.

I chose Ferrothorn, because I needed a mon to cover my fairy weakness. I also chose it to have a hazard setting mon that can easily wall fairy types. Overall, I chose Ferrothorn just for type coverage and hazard coverage.

Azumarill is the bunny we all know and love and it is causing trouble! To cover for the fire & fighting weakness, I opted for the fairy/water type known as Azumarill which covers both and covers them well. I still needed something to bring some bulk to the table, so that's another reason.

I then noticed Azumarill had an electric weakness. Ferrothorn almost completely covers that weakness, but I wanted to stay safe by using Landorus-T to add a bit more offensive pressure to my team.

I have bit of an ice weakness, so I went for Brave Bird itself, Talonflame! This bird of power really needs no explanation, but I went for the Bulk Up set to once again, maintain bulk with my team.

Mew is a pretty odd addition to my team. I chose it to have a reliable defogger that doesn't add to my ice weakness. Once again, I chose it over Lati@s for the bulk and well-rounded stats.

With the team, you can really see that I want more a bulky team that offers support, defense, and good attacking power.

The Team

Grim Reaper (Sableye) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Recover
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
This is a standard Mega-Sableye. I chose Knock Off to get rid of items on switches (Life Orb can be a real pain against this team). I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable with Shadow Sneak, but it does offer priority and is STAB. I can net the KO using this move, so I guess its okay. WoW and Recover are standard moves for prankster regular sableye. Of course, Sableye is great in both forms, no doubt about that.

Aim 4 The Thorn (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Thunder Wave
This Ferro likes to annoy opponents with T-Wave and Leech Seed, though I don't know whether to choose T-Wave & Power Whip or Protect & Gyro Ball. I wanted to balance my defense stats, so I chose the standard mixed defense EV spread. I chose Leftovers over Rocky Helmet, because recovery is more important to me than residual damage. I also use Power Whip to punish Azumarill on the switch.

Trix Are 4 Kids (Azumarill) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
I wasn't sure how AV Azumarill is doing during this metagame, so I went safe and chose CB. I wanted to add a ton of offensive pressure to my team, but it still maintains a bit of bulk thanks to its HP stat. Everything is a bit common overall. I chose Superpower over knock off because i wanted to punish Ferrothorn on the switch. I just think damage is damage, so Superpower does get that job done.

Minecraft (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
(I know, the name is random.... :p) I still wanted to make sure I could actually get KOs with offensive attackers. Lando-T is a great mon for that role. I'll be honest: I first wanted him to be a lefties rock setter with Ferro as spikes, but I figured I DID need a lot of offensive support, so scarf Lando-T took the cake. I chose Stone Edge over Rock Slide because of the sheer power and KO potential (which is its role: to add sheer power to my team).

Sanic SPEED (Talonflame) @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Will-O-Wisp
I still wanted power, but I felt like I was leaning too far over to HO like I usually do. I wanted to keep Talon bulky, but still fast with good KO potential. Of course, the Bulk Up set was there for me. WoW can punish opponents on the switch and BB is standard for any Talon. It has priority, and is STAB with lots of power. Roost is to keep it alive to continue to set up. Bulk Up is mainly for the defense, but I also wanted an attack boost to at least get good damage in (and kill much later).

151.gif

Toad (Mew) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 Spe
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Knock Off
I felt like my team was serious Guts Conk bait, so instead of WoW, I went for Toxic. As you should know, Toxic is the worse status for Conkeldurr. Knock Off does its job of taking away an opponents item. I want to stay alive just to ensure hazards don't come back up, so I opted for Soft-Boiled which heals 50%. The main attraction, Defog, can get rid of hazards spread on the field. This can really help Talon and the rest of my team period. Since Mew is bulky, it can use this moves to its advantage. (Once again, nickname is random lol)

What do YOU think? Do you have any suggestions? Please don't change my team too much, I'd love to have it feel like it was when I built it. (*My laptop has everything over 3 lines, so sorry if it isn't :/*)

Cool team, but you get 6-0d, by sd gliscor. Like you have azumarill, but it has to come in and take a hit, and then the gliscor user can switch out. Gliscor is a huge threat to balance teams, if not prepared for. So this is what I suggest you do. I think you should run ice beam slowbro over azumarill. Scald doesn't do enough to gliscor, but with ice beam you can 2hko it. Slowbro also resist most of the things azumarill resist, but it can also heal back up. Lets change some sets up to also improve your team. Instead of shadow sneak on mega sableye, I recommend running a CM set. Your team seems pretty weak to stall, and running cm sableye will atleast help with your stall weakness. It wont 100% fix it, because it takes more than 1 mon to fix a playstyle weakness. I also think you should run taunt over wisp on tflame. Taunt allows you play against stall more efficiently, and just works great with bulk up overall. Finally, you should run wisp over toxic on mew. Wisp allows you to burn more threats, and not get trapped by pursuit mons. Also mega sableye easily sets up on conk, so it is not really a threat.
