ORAS OU True Balance

Hello there!

I´m 10th Squad Toshiro and it´s a pleasure to me to present you my favorite team.
Currently I am at 1650 elo using this team (for the most part) so its nothing special but I think I know what I am talking about when it comes to the OU tier.

So I started building this team with the Gengar + Bisharp core, (if you didnt know about them yet they do an excelent job of keeping hazards on the field by blocking defog + rapid spin also gengar is immune to ground and fighting wich bisharp is weak to) however Gengar got replaced by Clefable after a lot of testing since I was super weak to mega-sableye so the core idea kinda went yolo.

ANYWAYS lets start by introducing the team member

Such very usage (Landorus-Therian) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

This is my dedicated lead pokemon setting up SR asap.
I decided for Stone Edge > Knock Off because this is my best bet against mega pinsir.
Now you may ask yourself why the hell I am using a relaxed nature. The reason is very simple.
Opposing Lando-T, wich is VERY VERY VERY common. My Lando always has advantage over opposing lando-t´s no matter if they are scarfed or defensive. If they are scarfed I basically get up my rocks for free and if they are defensive we both get our rocks up and then I ALWAYS want to u-turn out 2nd so I gain the free switch. You may run some speed and another nature to outspeed defensive rotom-w if you feel like it however I think that the relaxed nature is the best atm.

Suck my punch (Bisharp) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head

This bisharp set is used to sweep lategame, also it´s the only priority user of the team. Now people never agree if bisharp should run speed or HP but I think HP just helps you switch better into predicted defogs or psyshocks from the lati twins and taking a draco isnt the end of the world also you have priority anyways so speed is only semi-worth. That being said 248 hp investment makes you take less damage from SR 252 atk adamant is pretty standart and the last 8 def increase your pretty solid physical bulk a little bit more.

U +6? (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower

Once Gengar, this little fairy really helps me out having at least SOMETHING for mega-sableye and is a really great strong mon overall. I know unaware is better against sab, however magic guard is the better ability in general and on balanced teams.
Moonblast Flamethrower provide really good coverage in the OU tier (ok it cant even touch heatran but still) and the set is used to take 2 hits from several things in the tier(check the main smogon clef set for details) and be able to calm mind soft-boiled up. This set is really good against stall.
As item you can take leftovers or life orb (since u dont get any recoil damage and +6moonblast 2hkos chansey w LO)

Scarfed Specs (Keldeo-Resolute) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind

Standart choice specs keldeo set, really bulky hard hitting mon with great coverage... I love it.
Choice scarf can be used as well to outspeed for example mega lopunny and ohko, however I saw sooooooo many lati@s switching into this thing thinking they are safe while choice specs icy wind 2hkos and outspeeds also choice specs is just so much better against stall then scarf is.
Also this guy is part of my fire-water-grass core wich will be completed below.
Btw, this thing reks heatran.

You go bed now (Venusaur) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

This thing is a BEAST and the funny thing is that so many people still are not prepared for it.
It has great bulk instant recovery and awesome coverage while hitting the steel types that resist its stab/are immune to it get hit by hp fire. Its very hard to predict this things set for your opponent so use your momentum and gain advantage of them not knowing what kind of venu you run.

Hi Talonflame (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 228 SpD / 28 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Roar
- Stealth Rock

With heatran we can complete our Fire-Water-Grass core and our team. SpD heatran with 28 speed to outspeed other heatran and hurt them with earth power. He is also an awesome counter to talonflame even if he is SpD invested! You might ask yourself why I use two pokemon with stealth rocks, well that was because with gengar in bisharp it was very hard for my opponent to remove those, and now I got really used to set up those rocks either with lando or heatran and I dont feel like my heatran needs any other move so I dont have the space to run rocks. The only thing that troubled me in the past with heatran was his design wich I really dislike but he is so good that he earned his spot on the team.
(only really good defensive fire type wich isnt weak to rocks)

Threat List:

- Mega-Lopunny (ice punch hurts lando :c)
- Mega-Sableye (yes, still very annoying)
- Greninja (just because its pretty strong against balance I dont think it should go to ubers)
- Mega-Altaria (holy crap this thing is so strong and unpredictable e.e)
- Mew (you actually have a hard time to 2hko this thing and bisharp doesnt appreciate a burn)

Feel free to leave any suggestions in the comment section below, I´m always open for new stuff c:

Hi there, nice team! It's very solid, but a few tweaks could be made. First, on Bisharp, I would reccomend running 252 speed EVs. That's more useful to it than the added bulk. In addition, you could run Black glasses over Life Orb. That still boosts you Dark type attacks but saves you from the 10% chip damage per attack. Might be worth it, as even without bulk it's typing gives it the ability to take hits. I would also change Keldeo from a Specs set to a SubCM set. That set is more than capable of taking on Mew, and setting up on it in the process. Outside of that, Mega Venusaur could run an EV spread of 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe to outspeed some relevant Water types in that range. That's an incredibly small tweak however.

Not too sure about your threatlist, as your team handles everything decently. Mega Altaria, most Greninja and Lopunny are checked by Mega Venusaur, and Clefable handles Mega Sableye.

Keldeo @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Scald
- Secret Sword

Bisharp @ BlackGlasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

Bisharp doesn't need max HP, I suggest max Speed. Give Landorus 30IV in speed so you can get the slow U-Turn on opposing Landorus.

You could run low kick with max Spe on bisharp instead of SD and max Hp so as to handle opposing bisharp without resorting to keldeo. Just a minor change but one that I find actually works well.

I would run pursuit on Bisharp over swords dance, helps trap things like gengar, the Lati twins, etc. Also black glasses>life orb

Now you guys really suggested some interesting things.

Celticpride:
-Bisharp 252 Speed Ev´s ... I wont change the bulk into speed because I never felt like I need the speed on bisharp, however you are free to do so since I dont think its a bad idea.
-Bisharp LO to Black Glasses ... Yes, you will be using dark moves for the most part however bisharp wants to hit as hard as he can and wont take too many hits anyways so the LO damage doesnt matter at all, I wouldnt suggest sacrificing damage wich could give you an potential KO for no recoil wich doesnt REALLY matter.
(+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Landorus-T: 296-348 (92.7 - 109%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock)
^ wich is my main reasoning to LO bisharp
-Choice Specs Keldeo to Calm Mind ... I might actually try this out since bisharp and heatran are solid switch ins to the lati twins so I dont really need that 2hko on the switch-in.
-Give Venu some speed ... Thats a good idea I´ll do that after some research what I want it to outspeed.

Riahi:
-Bisharp 252 Speed Ev´s ... check Celticpride suggestion #1
-Lando-T 30 IV´s into speed ... that seems like a better solution to what I did, gonna take that.

Disciple_1:
-Low Kick on bisharp ... Bisharp would love to run like Knock off, Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Sword Dance, Iron Head, Psycho Cut, Low Kick BUT .. he cant ^^ so the set I use is what I found to be most useful during playtesting.
-Max speed on bisharp ... Check Celticpride suggestion #1

KRYUH:
-Pursuit over SD on Bisharp ... I feel like pursuit is way too risky and you can sd on a predicted switch from lati in some cases anyways, so I just feel like the sweeping potential gives me more advantages in this team than the trapping ability.
-Bisharp LO to Black Glasses ... check Celticpride suggestion #2

Floushaide:
-Bisharp Life Orb to Lum Berry ... I am not going to do that. Less damage output for 1 mon wich is perfectly countered by venu and clef - not worth it. I guess it does have its surprise factor but it´s not necessary on this team.
