I've been lurking the forums for a long ass time but never posted cause lazy and stuff. First post is this
Anyway, I decided to try out DD Scrafty and CB Azumarill and figured I would stick them in my team. I also have been constantly using sand teams and I grew tired of weather. SO HERE WE GO:
Team At A Glance:
Team building process:
I wanted to use DD Scrafty and CB Azumarill so, naturally, they were the first here. Not much else either than I wanted to try them out.
Added Magnezone and Bouffalant cause they are two of my faves and I love using scarfzone and the afrobull is just sexy. Was using Sap Sipper for a while, but recently changed to Reckless. I do like sap sipper though...
Needs Moar Dragons. Latias is one of my faves, I like the speed and bulk. Using CM Latias with HP Fighting. Playing around with the last moveslot.
I figured I needed another steel cause I don't really want magnezone to be taking a banded haxorus outrage lmfao. Went with Skarm cause spikes are nice, and the ability to phaze is cute.
@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
This is my boy. Usually lead with him after checking to see if my opponent has any ground types or volt absorb. I'll usually volt switch to scout and keep some momentum, unless they lead with Ferrothorn or some other steel which will die. If I'm not leading with him, I usually use the afro bull cause he can take a hit and has nice coverage and the sexy power behind his STAB attack.
(F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
HP Fighting is a tentative choice, doesn' t even do much against TTar unless I already have a CM in there. If I've already setup, I stay in and then they pursuit and are like wat why stay then die and it's fun. My favourite with this is when I have Zone against Lucario. Volt Switch and let Latias take the close combat, then hp fight to kill. I dunno. Need suggestions for the last moveslot or a different moveset all together.
(M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Reckless
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Megahorn
- Head Charge
- Wild Charge
- Earthquake
<33333333333 Loved this guy ever since I bred one with perfect IVs in HP/atk/def/spD in my white. I think he's sexy as hell with his bulk and his power and his afro. The power I get with Reckless + STAB Head Charge is way too huge to give up. I was using Sap Sipper for a whlie, but recently changed. I liked coming in on leech seeds and breloom spores. People got mad >=]
I prefer Megahorn to Payback, not sure why. I haven't used payback much though; however, I do enjoy having two options to take down a TTar, and having the choice dependant on the rest of the team.
(F) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Drain Punch
- Crunch
- Ice Punch
Playing around with item and ability here. I was using Leftovers with Shed Skin, but Shed Skin let me down and didn't heal my toxic when I needed it gone to complete my sweep =[ Loving this guy though, lategame sweeps have been surprisingly easy with him. Maybe I'm just playing people who aren't good enough yet.. ;c
Sexy STAB coverage + Ice punch is nice, after setup it's stupid easy to start a sweep. Usually keep him till the end when stuff is weakened and counters are (usually) gone to clean up and finish the game.
(M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def / 12 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Superpower
- Ice Punch
Sexy as well, Not much to say about him other than get fukt excadrill and you're really strong *-* I had no idea..
(F) @ Shed Shell
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird
Excadrill counter, phazer, dragon resist, spikes. Usual stuff. Nothing new here.
I want this team to be a good, competitive team, but I'm not sure what to change in order to get there. I feel potential in here c:
Probably need a weather inducer, or at least a random weather move.. I don't like having NO control over the weather. Or I need a way to counter it all. Need to work on synergy, obviously.. I didn't really think TOO much about it.. but regardless, the team is doing the best I've ever done on PO (which is sadly only a rating of ~1200)
Suggestions are lovely and fantastic =]
