SV NU Trying Stall for the first time

Hello everyone! I am trying to expand my knowledge by trying out different team styles. This is supposed to be a stall team (don't hate me for it lol) and I'd like some advice/suggestions. I've been having mixed results on the lower end of the NU ladder so far.

The gang:

Oopy Goopy (Gastrodon) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sticky Hold
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Spikes

Spikes setter and general "Knock Off switch in", Phys Def Gastro. I think this is a pretty common set seen on Gastrodon and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Maybe its worth switching Ice Beam for Sludge Bomb/Wave or Water coverage given the current rise of Snow teams?

Gen Munchkinman (Houndstone) @ Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Night Shade
- Body Press
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect

Spin blocker and burn spreader. Night Shade for consistent damage. I have seen some Rest-Talk variants that seemed interesting but I generally am not a huge fan of those sets in general. Maybe Roar could be an alternative over Body Press?

Lil Jimbob (Sableye) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Encore
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Knock Off

Secondary spin blocker and general "annoyance". Encore and Wisp can ruin monns and Knock Off gets rid of boots on opposing mons. Sable was the final mon I added to the team after trying out Naclstack initially, I also had my eyes on Bombirdier for a Ground immunity as well as a resist to Ghost and Dark type moves as well but didn't really think it fit onto the team that well + even though it resists those moves the defensive stats aren't amazing.

Larry (Registeel) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Iron Defense
- Body Press

Rocks setter with Iron-Press. As with Gastro I think this is a relatively standard set that doesn't need a whole lot of explaination, I had T-Wave on it initially over I-Def but with so much of the team already spreading other statuses I felt like I was rarely clicking it.

Hey Guys (Vaporeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Wish
- Protect
- Roar

Wish passer and phazer. I believe I have more than enough ways of spreading burn xD. Initially I thought about using Sylveon instead, but Scald is just such a good move. Also since Gastro is not going for Storm Drain I figured I needed some form of Water resist/immunity. The EV spread is taken from the stall sample team I believe.

Nanomachines son! (Avalugg) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Spinner
- Body Press

Finally the spinner. Since my team doesn't have boots I obviously needed some sort of removal myself, and Lugg is both a spinner as well as an amazing mon into the current rise of Snow in the tier. Could probably also be a different spinner, or just something else entirely with boots on more mons instead of course.

And that is the team. I believe the general core of the team to be more or less "correct", just the mons around it as well as some of the moves may need some adjustments.

Thank you for taking time to read all of this!

Cool idea, I'd make a few adjustments to the sets to optimize them a bit as right now I'm worried about matchups into certain wallbreakers like Chandelure and Flamigo especially. See below ideas:

:sableye: and :vaporeon:
So Sableye definitely needs to be physically defensive to me, given how you're taking a lot from the special attackers in the tier like Alolan Ninetales and Chandelure and want to spinblock against stuff like Tsareena. Bundling Vaporeon with Sableye, I see why you went with the mixed EV spread on it to help take some hits better but you are probably better just investing fully in physical bulk and accepting that Registeel and the below addition to the team in Alolan Muk are handling special attackers generally.

:houndstone: -> :muk-alola:
So, Houndstone can be pretty annoying as a physical wall but you're pretty set in that department so I went with something that can help tank special attacks and spread Knock Off and poison. Prior to using Tera Fairy, this doesn't help much with the aforementioned Flamigo issue, but given the rest of the team has plenty of physical bulk and lacks consistent Knock Off and status support this is a fine fit for me.

I also made Registeel Tera Ghost so that you can function as an IronPress setup sweeper a bit easier against stuff like DD Flygon, though this is just a personal preference.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah, I did find that I am somewhat lacking a solid Knock Off user aside from Sableye. Will definitely try the Muk suggestion, I think it is definitely a good option overall.

Tbh I don't think I ran into either Flamigo or Chandy yet but I can definitely see them giving my version a bit of trouble.

In your edit you changed Roar for Haze on Vapo, could you explain the reasoning behind that perhaps? To me it seems like forcing the enemy out on a team like this nearly always would be better than just removing stat boosts, given Vapo is often times slower anyways + it deals with the occasional Substitute here and there. Was there any specific matchup perhaps that I'm missing?

Ah right, meant to add a blurb about that. Roar is fine for phazing but Haze is generally better since it has more PP and doesn't lose to last-mon situations like against double dance Bronzong, SubBU Wetbull, etc. Either is fine but you'd probably get more out of Haze on Vaporeon since, outside of Encore on Sableye, you don't have a ton of disruptive options.

Hey again, just wanting to thank you once again for your help! I have played a number of games with your adjustments and it really feels a lot smoother now, especially the Muk seems to be working very well in general!
