Trying to reach Battle tower (2nd time)

I tried 3 time to reach Palmer (all were close), and was cheated by multiple criticals @!

Here my current team I used:

Kingdra @ Leftovers (LEAD)
Adamant 252 Atk / 24 SpA / 232 Spe
~ Dragon dance
~ Outrage
~ Waterfall
~ Substitute

Bronzong @ Lum berry
Relaxed 252 HP / 84 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SpD
~ Gyro Ball
~ Trick Room
~ Hypnosis / Rest (tired of hypnosis missing, maybe rest would put Bronzong in the game longer?)
~ Explosion

*Bronzong my set-up guy, and could take a beating from random attacks, hopefully be able to set up trick room, and take out 1-2 pokemon w/ explosion. Then Rhyperior finish the rest hopefully!

Rhyperior @ Life orb
Brave 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Def
~ Earthquake
~ Stone edge
~ Fire punch
~ Sword dance (Should I just go straight out w/ all attacks instead of setting up w/ SD?)

*I understand there better pokemon out there then Rhyperior, but I like him and want to reach Battle Tower Palmer (2nd time) w/ him at least in the team.

I fail 3 time reaching Palmer w/ this team, all were so close :*(

Any other advise be great, thanks guys.

Rhyperior adjustments:
You might want to replace Swords Dance to Megahorn to deal with Cresselia.
Also replace Fire Punch for Hammer Arm to deal with Regigigas. It will also take advantage of Trick Room, which will quite negate Speed drop.

In my opinion the way to beat palmer is to have a water lead with an ice move. While your team is good, for palmer specifically you want something even like a golduck or any sort of fast water lead that can ohko rhyperior with a surf and ohko dragonite with an ice beam.

Then you have 3 pokemon against his milotic which in your case could simply be an explosion from bronzong.

Generally the team you have is better than anything I'm suggesting but for specifically beating palmer you want a fast special water lead with surf and ice beam.

Then from there you can simply explode milotic and hopefully that will kill it.

Your Rhyperior, which should drop swords dance for megahorn, just does not match up well with Palmer's team. So just for facing him I would ditch him for something bulky and electric or bulky and grass.

After beating Palmer by all means go back to this team because it is good. However, the one go around where you fight palmer I would suggest switching it up a bit.

I love Rhyperior tho :), the first match w/ Palmer is easy pass, I never battle the 2nd time tho, always get some hax critical on Bronzong by UN pokemon! GRR

Finger cross, gonna go battle again :p

It would be great if u could post the evs

Kingdra- Try lum berry. Maybe yawn instead of sub.

Bronzong- Make it hold light clay with the set: reflect, light screen, trick room, explosion. Set up your screens FIRST, then trick room, and explode.

Rhyperior- try: stone edge, eq, sub, Swords dance, because quake-edge pretty much covers everything already. Hammer arm? Regigigas is faster than bronzong and rhyperior, even after slow start. If I remember correctly, Regigigas is harmless, and could be used as set up fodder for Rhyperior.

If it is possible to abuse garchomp, why not? Maybe even a CB set would be preferable to kingdra as a lead. It easily 3-0s most teams without a steel or weavile with outrage.

I can see a weakness to grass knot+close combat infernape.
