Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
This is the Pokemon I built my team around. As I needed a sweeper for this team, I chose to use the Dragon Dance set with 3 attacks. I have Stone Edge just for a nice STAB coverage for hitting things like Rotom-W and Earthquake for mainly Steel types (Heatran, Aegislash, etc.) Last but not least, Ice Punch is a crucial move since Gliscor and Landorus-T wall this set very well. The EV's are simple. Maximize speed and attack. The Jolly nature gives Mega Tyranitar to outspeed a lot of threats at +1 and even at +0 speed.
Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Surf
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
Essentially my main wallbreaker for my team. Choice Specs is a really good item for Keldeo as its Special Attack is already so enormous, most of the time I don't even need to predict anything. I just spam Hydro Pumps/Secret Swords as most mons are either easily 2HKO'd or OHKO'd. Icy Wind is there for Pokemon such as Dragonite and also comes in handy when you need to lower the opposing Pokemon's speed.
Kyurem-Black @ Leftovers
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 56 HP / 216 SpA / 236 Spe
Rash Nature
- Substitute
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Bolt
Ah, the long forgotten monster of OU. While fairies have apparently pushed this behemoth out of the tier, in my opinion, it still remains a very big threat as demonstrated by this set. This Pokemon fits very well with my team. It's ability Teravolt, gives it a lot of leverage as it is able to get past Dragonite (OHKO'ing it because it negates Multiscale) while also getting past Mega Venusaur (negates Thick Fat) with Ice Beam. As you can already see with Mega Tyranitar and Keldeo, Mega Venusaur is a big check for my team as it stops a lot of my Pokemon. However, Kyurem-B with Substitute and Ice Beam is easily able to get around it.
Aegislash @ Air Balloon
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Iron Head
- Shadow Ball
- Shadow Sneak
- King's Shield
Along with Keldeo, Aegislash is the other wallbreaker on my team. Maxing out its Attack and Special Attack allows it to deal tremendous amounts of damage to the other team. I'm using Iron Head instead of Sacred Sword because of fairies. My team has no Pokemon that resist Fairy except Aegislash. In fact, 4/6 my Pokemon are weak to fairy moves. Iron Head (while surely not uncommon) is a pretty good physical move for this Aegislash as it OHKO's a lot of Fairies.
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Surf
While my team isn't too weak to Stealth Rock, it does wear down my Pokemon gradually as switching is so common in this metagame. This Defog + 3 attacks is a pretty good moveset as Draco Meteor obliterates anything that isn't a Chansey/Blissey/Fairy types and HP Fire along with Surf serve as good coverage moves to hit Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Heatran.
Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 224 Def / 32 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Trick
Rotom-Wash. While I absolutely hate going against it, I can see why so many people use it. Rotom-W fantastic typing is a perfect fit for my team as it is immune to Ground type moves which hurt my team pretty badly. As you can also notice, my team doesn't have a scarfer. Rotom-W takes care of this. Paired with Trick, Rotom-W can effectively cripple bulky mons such as Mandibuzz/Blissey while at the same time receiving beneficial items like Leftovers. The 32 SpA allows it to OHKO Gliscor at full health with Hydro Pump.
Thank you guys for reading this. I appreciate any feedback/criticism you guys have!
