Tsareena leverages its typing, decent bulk, and access to Synthesis to check a multitude of threats throughout the tier such as Flygon, Krookodile, and Rhyperior. This set also grants Tsareena the ability to take Klefki down, taking little damage from Foul Play thanks to the bulk investment. Furthermore, the Speed EVs allow Tsareena to outspeed Modest Diancie and avoid its Meteor Beam. Knock Off and Rapid Spin give Tsareena the ability to provide any team it is on with item and entry hazard removal. Tera Poison allows Tsareena to avoid being poisoned from the likes of Alolan Muk while also checking prominent Fighting-types such as Mienshao and Lucario. Pokemon such as Diancie and Rhyperior pair extremely well with Tsareena as they appreciate its ability to threaten Water- and Ground-types and in return they combat Fire- and Flying-types for Tsareena. Pokemon that appreciate the entry hazard removal such as Chandelure, Noivern, and Thundurus are also excellent partners for Tsareena so they can pivot in and out without fear.
