Tsareena @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Queenly Majesty
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
- Synthesis
Tsareena spins into NU! Tsareena leverages its typing to be a great Rapid Spin user into common hazard setters such as Swampert, Bronzong, and Klefki. Knock Off allows Tsareena to remove items from Altaria and Incineroar, as well as heavily damage Ghost-types that want to block Rapid Spin, such as Chandelure and Basculegion. Covert Cloak gives Tsareena an immunity to Scald burns from Vaporeon as well as not having its healing blocked from Psychic Noise Bronzong. Tera Poison gives Tsareena an immunity to Toxic from Bellibolt and improves its matchup against Flamigo at the cost of losing its ground resistance. Tsareena best fits on balance teams, so teammates who are weak to entry hazards such as Eviolite Scyther, Infernape, and Chandelure greatly appreciate Tsareena's hazard removal, as they can perform their roles much more effectively without hazards. Rock-types such as Diancie and Rhyperior provide Tsareena with a resistance to Fire and Flying. In turn, Tsareena can provide them with a resistance against Water and Grass, which is useful against Vaporeon, Basculegion, and Decidueye.
