Besides my annoying antics, Shuckle is awesome, not only because it is the only viable turtle in Ubers, but also because it gives birth to a whole new playstyle: Sticky Web

is what holds together this team, especially when you have intergalatic play-thing looking dinosaurs and cool kats, as well as sadistic Creator-destroying emo fans, you have a weird bunch of people slapped together and smiling for the photo shoot.

Which means the former king of ubers, Kyogre, will forever eat this sticky web (*wink*) turtle as dessert. (sounds great :p)


Now we have what holds this team together as well: Gothitelle, which is inarguably (Inarguable because if you say otherwise the Creator destroyer will kill you :D) the best teammate for Shuckle. No, really. Gothitelle removes all supportceus-donkey-llamma stuff from the game, excluding Darkceus or Ghostceus.

Anyway blah blah blah blah sticky web slows down enemies toxic cripples things that think they can get a free switch-in, encore is the trolly move that makes you continuously use a move, and rock tomb is there because it makes Yveltal Taunt switchins think twice and it is a move to use while taunted. Speaking of taunts, Mental Herb is here to survive a taunt and setup sticky web. MAX HP and Sdef to maximize special bulk, and with 230 Sdef it can tank a whole lotta stuff. Shuckle supports Gothitelle, enabling it to defeat Arceus and it also supports Lucario, which now can comfortably destroy Darkrai, ScarfGenesect, etc.

Gothitelle is VERY underrated. Gothitelle is basically the best thing on earth for Shuckle, because it removes the most annoying defoggers in ubers: Creator-ceus. How? Well, with these EVs, Gothitelle can outspeed Max Speed boosting nature Arceus (don't know why they would be running that but oh well) in sticky web. Then, CM Wars begin. Gothitelle is surprisingly bulky as well. Rest to heal, and Psychic as an attacking option. Shadow Tag stops Arceus from switching, so it is guaranteed that the supportceus will die.

Oh my goodness. Palkia again? Since my last Uber RMT, I still have Palkia. This is a testament to how godly Palkia is and how useful it is. It checks Kyogre, one of the biggest threats to this team, and can stop choice Zekrom 95% of the time in Sticky Web. Thunder Wave for GeoXern switching in, and the rest of the set is standard. Fire Blast to roast Scizor and Ferrothorn, and scarfSect in sticky web. Palkia does a lot for this team.

XTREMEKILLER ARCEUS. OMFG. Well its kind of obvious I'd use this beast. Overheat to catch common checks like Megazor in the bug net and Shadow Claw for pesky Giratina. Extremespeed for STAB and priority in one. EVs work in Sticky Web, max atk, blah. I was considering changing Extreme Speed because I have Sticky Web already, and Return might do a better job, but I dunno :D. This is my cleaner and sweeper, which wrecks everything lategame

I just wanna mention one thing; Shiny Lucario in aura cloak = Super saiyan?
Anyway this thing is beast in ubers. It was banned in ou early on because it was THAT broken. Heck, unboosted Lucario can dent a load of pokemon in ubers, who all have tectonic uninvested defense stats. At +2, which is reasonably easier than it may seem because of how many switches Lucario forces, Lucario destroys everything. In Sticky Web, scarfers and Fast mons like Mewtwo and Darkrai are utterly destroyed. The only way to stop Lucario is priority, and Lucario resists the three common ones: Bullet Punch, Extreme Speed, and Sucker Punch. GG bro, juke nuke.

One of the best physical walls in Ubers, its stats may not show a beast, but its ability is what makes it a tiger king in the jungle of Ubers: Intimidate. With it, Landorus can check dangerous threats like Zekrom while also providing a way out against strong physical attackers. This tiger can also Toxic pokemon and set up Stealth Rock. Yay :D. Edgequake for coverage, and EvSpread is welcome to be changed because this is more of a offensive team than a defensive team, and my set is a defensive one :(.







As usual, suggestions are welcome, especially for my offensive core, which needs improvement.

aint too bad of a team, use Explosion Lando-T to prevent Defog. Your spread is also sub optimal, and you should run LO as the damage output needs to be jacked up when using teams like this.

Having Lucario on the team means you can possibly use another mon that Arceus-Normal, as the priority isn't exactly needed. You could probably use a stronger wallbreaker like specs Kyogre or a fast taunter like LO Mewtwo over it. Yveltal is also possible to use as does help against ghosts that could be threatening to your team (rare sub cm ghostceus sets up turn 1 and sweeps). The change is quite optimal as the usage of Arceus-Normal leaves you weak to few things in the meta (weaknesses rn include stuff like phys def ho-oh, dtail lugia and ghosts incase you were wondering).

Hey Disconnectedamilliontimes,

Nice team. Js that was kinda hard to read cuz the pics. Also I have a kinda similar team too. Anyways. As Hack pointed out, there are a lot of suboptimal sets here, which can and should be fixed. One issue I see here is a game plan versus other sticky web teams. That's going to throw you on equal footing and that's pretty annoying. Alternately, opposing ditto that lead against you will pretty much mess up your game, as your team is designed to function under webs. The other notable threats would be Darkrai and Yveltal, the latter of which is tough for web teams to deal with generally, and the former anti-leads Shuckle and you have no sleep absorber.

As for fixing things, yeah I feel like Ekiller can easily be changed. Maybe Yveltal as Hack said, it would also help against opposing web teams and ghosts, while using the quicker taunt it gets from webs. You could also throw sleep talk on something to help against Darkrai. I would possibly throw it on Palkia, and while I know it likes all its moves, it is probably the most effective user of it. Or actually Lando-T gets it too but it's not that good on him. As for Yveltal- I'm not sure the best course of action to take against it because it is one of biggest threats to web in general.

OPTIMIZATION:

Shuckle- fine

Gothitelle- Psyshock > Psychic, it beats CM Arceus better and stuff. You need at least 40+ SDef to reliable switch in to and set up on Support Arceus also. Too lazy to find how much it needs to speed creep, but you could try that too.

Palkia- How necessary is all that speed investment? Neutral 168(maybe 172 not sure) will outspeed MM2Y, but 108(or 112, not sure again) outspeeds base 130s. Sleep Talk > something?

Arceus- What are you speed creeping to? I'm not sure what you need tbh.

Luke- I feel it lacks setup chances, maybe SE > SD

Lando-T- LO max speed max attack w/ Explosion > Toxic

Overall good team.

There really aren't many max speed support arceus. On a side note, adding Kyogre could mean that Goth could help it by removing Palkia. It does need SDef investment though. I can see where max speed CM Arceus might exist, but idk if that creep is most effective.

Fair enough. Psyshock is more reliable in CM wars, but I guess Psychic is a bit stronger in general. The only notable calc I see is:
+6 0 SpA Gothitelle Psychic vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Ho-Oh: 255-300 (61.4 - 72.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+6 0 SpA Gothitelle Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 360-424 (86.7 - 102.1%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO

SD is fine I suppose. I will say that Lando-T doesn't love risking the burn on Ho-Oh so SE could add a bit of help with that. However, keeping SD is perfectly fine.

You are slower than scarfogre regardless without web. Under web (so given that web negates scarf), it only needs 176+ Spd to outspeed Kyogre, however keeping 252+ is good now that I look at it because you like outspeeding Yveltal (although it does have Sucker Punch). The only other thing that it matters at all for would be ScarfXern which is pretty rare.

EDIT: erm on a side note you technically weren't supposed to post another RMT until 2 weeks after the last post on your last RMT if I understand the rules right. Ofc I'm not a mod so I won't argue but just fyi

Because idiots lead with Kyogre and I can't shuckle lead, I instead use Palkia to kill Kyogre first, which means sticky web isn't up.
 
Well ideally on a team like this you have to keep pressure ofc ik its not always possible but idk it doesn't matter that much (does modest even get any notable kills?)
 
Goth is actually kinda cool on web teams since it removes support arc. And lol sry for ninjas steel
 
I see. In certain scenarios goth is better, mostly since it has taunt but I concede your point

Edit actually I think goth can trap palkia which is cool with ogre
