Tutoring

I really think tutoring should be more closely watched/more common. One month is a bit too long for tutoring (Even for the people who need it most.) Also, Round 47 has been going on for MORE than a month since applications were closed and assignments were given. I still need the tutoring and applications haven't started back up again and it inconviences those who have never even done any tournaments or even created a team.

I would really appreciate it if tutoring time was cut down to about 2 weeks to 3 weeks. One month is unnecessary and by then there would probably be only small questions left unanswered. I also would appreciate that when a session of tutoring is finished that a thread for the next round is immediatly started back up.

i don't think you understand why tutoring goes on for as long as it does. there's no longer a fixed time, it's as long as the tutee feels is required.
 
Be patient. Your time will come when it comes. When you eventually get assigned a tutor, I doubt you'll be complaining about the fact that you aren't limited in the amount of time you get to spend with him.
There's no reason to wait until you're assigned a tutor to build a team. Smogon has a great number of resources available to help you learn battling independently, such as:

Using these resources and experimenting with your own ideas through actual battle experience are great ways to get better at competitive Pokemon.
Not every great battler had a tutor to teach him the ropes!

Round 47 has been going on for a long time because it is now an on-going topic. Once the queue gets low, I re-open the topic for people to sign up. Just keep your eyes open. Also, it's like Tubaking said, there are plenty of other Smogon resources to get you started. I personally never had a tutor in my life, and look at me!
 
ha ha yea i have to b keeping my eyes peeled cuz i really want a tutor cuz my tembuilding skills.......really bad =[ even with smogon D: and tha forms feel liek there taking forever =[
