NOW PAY ATTENTION 'CAUSE I SUCK WITH FLAVOR!

Both Gym Leaders get on their side of the field, say their greeting, drink a nice latte, polish their Poké Balls, and get ready to battle. What do I do? Watch TV, of course. After a while, Texas tells me that they have been waiting for me and to stop slacking off. I apologize and tell him that it won't happen again, hoping that he won't fire me.

Both battlers take out Pokémons equiped with Mega Stones, which means we are about to see contenders with inmensurable power. For the Dragon Leader side, we have a bulky and powerful looking Blastoise, armed with artillery, ready to take its foe. And on the other side, next to the Normal type Leader, we have an enormous Kanghaskan, with an equally bulky and powerful look, except that without cannons.

NOW START HITTING EACH OTHER!!!​

Maya goes and Mega Evolves first action, and stops as if waiting to see if Shellshocker was going to do the same. Since she sees no reaction, she infuses her hand with electricity, and quickly runs towards the Blastiose and hits it! The Blas - wait, what's that? A baby Kangaskhan? How CUUUUUTEEEE!!! And look, it is imitating her mother, punching the Blastoise! It's adorable *-*

Now an aura appears around the Blastoise, and hits back hard, dealing more damage than the Kangaskhan dealt to him!

Seeing a break in the barrage of thunder infused punchs, Blastoise get ready to attack by Mega Evolving himself! Now more powerful, it receives less damage from the Kangaskhan's punches, and hitting hard himself with a well-aimed Aura Sphere (not that you need to aim with Aura Sphere, but whatever).

Feeling the pain, Maya goes and thunder punches the tortoise again, only to take the damage back multiplied when Shellshocker counters.

Despite Maya's broken ability, Maxim is losing this battle by a kind of big margin. Will he be able to make a come back?​

Woah, I guess I forgot about the attack boost.

If Bide starting A2 or A3, then use Focus Energy on the first instance and Aqua Tail on the second.
If successful Protective/Evasive move, then use Power Up Punch on that action and push actions back.

Texas, angry at the excesive amount of damage that current mechanics allow Mega Kangaskhan to deal, decides to finish this monster with another of his Mega Pokémon: Charizard X! If Druddigon is underground when you are to act, then use Nasty Plot and push actions back.
 
ROUND 4

Both Leaders switch out their Pokémon looking for a better match-up, ending with Roughrider the Druddigon in Texas side of the field, and Shadow the Mismagius on the other side. Shadow starts attacking from the get-go, but Roughrider gives this round a little more thought and puts up a substitute for the incoming attacks. This ends up paying up, since the Mismagius tries to burn him with an infernal fire, which fails to break the doll and cause a burn. Now safe, Druddigon strikes twice with slashes with the power of the night, while his substitute gets broken by a ball of shadow energy.

This fight is still anyone's to take! Which leader will emerge victorious?

I feel dumb. HOW DID I FORGET DRAGON RESISTE FIRE!?

I'm a shame for every Pokémon Trainer in existence.

Aaanyway, here Maxim makes a kind of smart play by making Shadow more resistant to physical assaults, but sadly for him that doesn't work as well against Dragon Claw as it does against Night Slash. He does get a crit and a SpD drop, but I think Druddigon has won this one. Of course, I could be wrong. Very wrong.
