This is my first RMT, and my first post, in fact. It's a team i've been playing around with for a while now, keeping me somewhere around a 1200 or 1300 CRE- obviously, it could be better, which is why i'm posting it. This team was made largely in collaboration with Uchihaex, a user on shoddy battle, and so much of the credit for this team goes to him, as without his generosity, my CRE would still be sitting in the low 200s.
Anyway, here's the team at a glance-

At a Glance
General Strategy
This team is based on a rayquaza sweep, and so all decisions concerning movesets and teammates are meant to make his job easier. Deoxys S is a brilliant lead, meant only to set up stealth rock, spikes, and die. Wobbuffet can revenge kill scarfed pokemon or set up rayquaza or kingdra with encore. Giratina O keeps those vital entry hazards on the field, while Kyogre provides the rain that is essential to kingdra to function as a backup sweeper in case rayquaza somehow doesn't sweep. If all else fails, kyogre can use its ridiculously overpowered waterspout or surf in a final attempt to clean up the opponent's pokemon.

This is the lead of the team, and as said in the introduction, it is only meant to set up stealth rocks, maybe spikes, and die. As such, max speed was necessary to at worst tie with other deoxys-S leads. Stealth Rocks and spikes together make a useful combination, as the flying types who are immune to spikes get hit hard by stealth rock (of course, levitators are an exception). The choice between signal beam and extreme speed is a tough one, but generally i go with extreme speed in order to come out on top against Deoxys-A leads. However, i'm testing signal beam against darkrai who choose to use trick, and against deoxys-A leads. Taunt may be standard, but protect is very useful to scout choiced leads, like darkrai or Shaymin-S. The choice between focus sash and lum berry is similarly challenging. Most of the time, Focus sash is more useful, but the extra turn against scarf darkrai leads can be extremely helpful.

This rayquaza is the center of the team, with dragon dance being the basis of the set. Hopefully, wobbuffet will have removed any troublesome scarfers, and after a dragon dance rayquaza will be faster than the opponent's entire team. Outrage is the general stab, dealing insane amounts of damage to anything that is neutral or weak to it. Earthquake compliments outrage well, although the locking effect of outrage mitigates this slightly. Overheat hits the flying and levitating steels that would otherwise plague this set, such as bronzong or skarmory. This thing is a powerhouse, and honestly, i don't know why people would ever use swords dance rayquaza.

Wobbuffet is the only support-oriented pokemon on this otherwise offensive team. He has three jobs- most importantly, he should be revenge killing scarfed pokemon such as Palkia to make rayquaza's sweep possible. If that succeeds, or proves unnecessary, Wobbuffet should use Encore to set up rayquaza. If setting up rayquaza is impossible, then wobbuffet can use encore to set up Kingdra as well, who normally doesn't get a chance to use dragon dance because it is so frail. Safeguard is there in case i encore a status move, and the couner/ mirror coat combo is for those pesky scarfers. As for the EVs, i honestly can't say too much about them. I'm horribly inept at damage calculations, and they're the standards. If anyone has any suggestions for Wobbuffet's EVs, they'd be greatly appreciated.

This Giratina is meant to be a spin-blocker, and as such it carries HP fire to deal with forretress. Suggestions have been made that have convinced me to make this an offensive CM sweeper. as such, earthquake has been removed, replaced by thunder for Kyogres who would otherwise wall the set. dragon pulse is still the main stab move, and as said above, HP fire is a reliable OHKO on forretress. The speed EVs allow me to outpace all adamant rayquaza and groudon, as well as modest kyogre. The EVs that didn't go into sp. atk or speed were simply dumped into HP to maximize survivability.

Kyogre is an amazing user of choice scarf, outrunning many non-scarfed pokemon and OHKOing them with water spout or surf. On this team, however, he has many more purposes than revenge killing. His perma-rain is extremely useful, providing Kingdra with a source of speed and and an extra powerful waterfall. If Kingdra and Rayquaza both faint with their jobs left unfinished, then Kyogre can often clean up late game and sweep the opponent's weakened team with surf, or water spout if i'm lucky. Thunder and ice beam are there for coverage, though i rarely use them. The EVs are simple and standard, allowing Kyogre to be as fast and as strong as possible.

Ubers Kingdra really is amazing. He has gotten me out of more than one tight spot, usually with waterfall alone. Again, I haven't done any damage calculations, because i would screw them up, but the KOs he can get, especially after a dragon dance, are phenomenal. The only real problem with him is his frailty, which makes it hard to dragon dance the majority of the time. Outrage is for coverage against water and dragon types who, obviously, resist waterfall. I'll sometimes lead off with draco meteor to nail the physical wall switch in, although yawn may be more effective. The EVs are to most efficiently abuse swift swim, and the leftover EVs are dumped into the attacking stats, maximizing atk and strengthening draco meteor.
Synergy
This team lacks defensive synergy, and thus plays more similarly to hyper offense than balanced offense. It is definitely neither, though. Wobbuffet is by far the most useful teammate for any set up sweeper, and on this team is the only pure-support oriented pokemon. Giratina O will often switch into forretress that try to spin away deoxys's entry hazards. Offensively, however, i think that the team has great synergy. Rayquaza alone can usually provide all the type coverage it needs, but the occasional groudon who is equipped to counter rayquaza or kingdra is easily handled by kyogre. Kyogre's problems iwth opposing kyogre, as well as palkia, are handled by giratina or kingdra respectively, although the latter may require revenge killing rather than switching in. Despite the fact that my two main sweepers are dragon types, Kingdra's sweep is often very effective because he shares many counters with rayquaza, which have either been removed or weakned sufficiently.
In short, this team has potential (in my opinion, at least), but there's something not "clicking". I don't know if it's the way i use it, or if there's something wrong in the team building process that went wrong, but that's why I'm putting it up on smogon. Thanks to anyone who rates the team! :)
