ThrustSSC @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SpA / 22 Spd
Timid nature: (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Extremespeed
- Stealth Rock
- Trick

Trick scarf deoxys-s lead but with extremespeed over shadow ball as i usually trick other deoxys-s anyway and some evs in spa instead of speed. only with this ev spread and nature is it possible to get a guaranteed ko on dd rayquaza with ice beam (100.3% - 118.1% according to smogon damage calculator) while still outspeeding and 2hko scarfed deoxys-a (661 vs 657 speed) with extremespeed and having max hp :naughty:

also guaranteed ko on shaymin-s, garchomp and salamence except for the specially bulky variant (89.2% - 105.6%)

against opposing deoxys-s lead i trick, after that if he tricks or taunts we both have to switch. if he goes for stealth rock i get to put up sr while he switches out, if he goes for extremespeed, shadow ball or spikes i switch.

Kyogre @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 222 HP / 252 SpA / 36 Spd
Modest nature: (+SpA, -Atk)
- Water Spout
- Surf
- Thunder
- Ice Beam

my special sweeper. modest choice specs kyogre is the best special sweeper in the game and can switch into ice, water and steel attacks. 222 evs in hp because i need the bulk especially against opposing kyogre and its unlikely to outspeed much anyway. kyogre has won me a quite a few games in the past (see my warstory.) my main groudon counter. also sets up rain for kingdra.

230.png

Kingdra @ life orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spd
Naughty nature: (+Atk, -SpD)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Outrage
- Draco Meteor

my late game sweeper. with kyogre,s rain, kingdra can sweep anything not named rayquaza or groudon, shedinja, or empoleon thanks to its stab water and dragon attacks. naughty nature as physical priority sweepers are its biggest threat. even with a hindering nature can still take a modest choice specs kyogre,s water spout thanks to quad resistance. can potentially sweep if its hidden until the end.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly nature: (+Spd, -SpA)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Stone Edge

i needed a revenge killer and a resistor to electric attacks so choice scarf Garchomp made sense. counters both sd and dd ray. earthquake for dialga and metagross. stone edge for ho-oh and lugia.

384.png

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly nature: (+Spd, -SpA)
- Swords Dance
- Extremespeed
- Dragon Claw
- Overheat

my physical sweeper and fighting/ground resistor. max speed to tie against opposing ray, with max speed and dragon claw has a real chance of beating opposing ray or kingdra if it comes down to a 1v1. also hits dialga hard after sd with dragon claw. if i manage to get up a swords dance it usually sweeps unless i come up against garchomp, groudon, lugia or a scarfed steel. overheat since scizor is so common in todays metagame and air lock gets rid of the rain. can also revenge kill low targets with extremespeed or sweep if i get a sd up.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 202 HP / 56 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant nature: (+Atk, -SpA)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower

uber choice band scizor is great for scouting with u-turn, trapping psychics with pursuit, superpower for blissey or opposing scizor and bullet punch for finishing weakened yet dangerous sweepers. and of course taking dragon and ice attacks.

this is an offensive/hyper offensive rain team. i have been trying to build a good offensive team with my variant of trick scarf deoxys-s and i think i have done it.

i know this team has 4 choice users but with my lead only way to get it down to 3 is to have no revenge killer/scarfer as cb scizor and specsogre is key to this team

Nice to see my team has inspired some people! Your team is good, but you can try some of these suggestions if they tickle your fancy. Firstly, since your lead is dedicated to putting up Spikes, it just makes sense to replace Rayquaza with Mixed Giratina-O. You lose your Groudon lure and some surprise factor, but you gain extremely valuable spin-blocking capabilities.

Giratina-O @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 Atk/64 SpA/196 Spe
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Claw
- Shadow Sneak

Really standard. It's basically a slightly weaker but bulkier version of Rayquaza, and prevents your opponent from spinning your Spikes away. Forretress can find plenty of time to spin against your team, walling Deoxys-S, Scizor and half of Shaymin-S's attacks, so having a solid spin blocker could help your team considerably. You're also going to have quite the hard time against Kyogre, even more so than my team, seeing as you have Outrage on Dialga. This forces you to lock yourself on the move against Kyogre if you hope to do any damage to it, which can be very bad, seeing as you're already weak to Lucario, giving it an early chance to set up. I strongly suggest changing to Dragon Claw to give you a little bit better insurance against Kyogre. Unfortunately it's Specs, you lose a Pokemon, but you can outpace it with the majority of your team. Finally, not only is RP Groudon a problem, but so are threats like Rayquaza and Lucario. I simple solution would be to replace your Shaymin-S with a Scarf Mewtwo.

Mewtwo-O @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 136 Def / 196 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Thunder
- Ice Beam
- Trick / Aura Sphere

Since you've stated Shaymin-S's main role is to check Rock Polish Groudon, why not have a Pokemon that stands a better chance against Lucario and Rayquaza too? It outruns standard +2 Adamant Groudon and isn't OHKO'ed by Jolly versions, allowing you to Grass Knot back. It can also survive +2 Extremespeeds from Lucario and Rayquaza and OHKO back. If Lucario is really bothersome, a more reliable move in Aura Sphere is recommended, but the ability to cripple stall with Trick is very helpful. Overall, Mewtwo is an excellent offensive check to these threats which usually destroy teams like yours, so you should definitely try it out.

EDIT: The whole point of Scarf Deoxys-S should be to set up Spikes. Otherwise, there are better anti-leads like Scarf Darkrai and Deoxys-A if you truly wish to prevent opponents from setting up their own Spikes. Thunder is for coverage against Ho-oh and Lugia, but you can opt for Flamethrower is you'd prefer. The fact you only have Kyogre means Thunder is preferable, but Falemthrower can be useful against Luke/Scizor/Forry. I just listed Aura Sphere due to its reliability against Lucario, and insurance against Darkrai.

i like mewtwo over shaymin-s but not so much giratina-o as spikes are my last priority tbh. my lead prevents opposing deoxys-s from getting multiple entry hazards and also works as an anti-lead and even threatens anything with a quad weakness to ice. setting up my own entry hazards is just an after thought, preventing entry hazards is this leads priority. hidden power fire has proven devastating against forretress and scizor bringing them down to 20% health so its going in over spikes. why grass knot and thunder on the same moveset? cant grass knot ko groudon while still weakening kyogre enough for scizor or ray to finish with priority? that way flamethrower can wipe out scizor/forry

Hi, not a bad team. I see SD Ray and SD Lucario being a major threat to this team, especially with 4 Choice users that they can come in and setup on. Secondly, like so many Ubers teams that I see these days, you have no safe switch-in to Kyogre (Specs especially). Firstly, to address your Ray and Lucario weakness, I second Iconic's suggestion to replace Ray with Giratina-O, since he can spin-block and do pretty much everything MixQuaza can do apart from surprise Groudon and Brick Break Baton Pass Mew.

Giratina-O @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 Atk/64 SpA/196 Spe
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Draco Meteor
- Outrage
- Shadow Sneak

Giratina-O can check RP Groudon as well if it's at reasonable health, since it's bulky enough to survive an LO Dragon Claw, Draco Meteor it and finish it off with Shadow Sneak. It outspeeds the standard Adamant Rayquaza and Lucario as well. Since Gira-O can check RP Groudon, I suggest replacing Skymin with Latias to check Kyogre:

Latias @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP/204 SpA/192 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Thunder
-Recover

Latias can take a +2 Extremespeed from Jolly Lucario as well (Who will outspeed Giratina-O).

Hope I helped, good luck.

atm bulk up dialga is my switch in to all forms of kyogre. in my warstory a ray got a sd on me since kyogre was locked into surf and i switched in dialga. only reason it didnt sweep me dialga survived a +2 dragon claw to ko back with outrage, wouldnt work if he had earthquake. the 4 choice users includes the lead which will likely use trick. when i replace shaymin-s with mewtwo it too will most likely have trick. as far as im concerned the only true counter to sd ray is something that can take a +2 attack from ray and ko back like extremely bulky groudon and this team is meant to be offensive, speaking of which im thinking of changing moveset/ev spread on dialga

wow your right, makes me wonder why i didnt water spout scizor in my warstory, that way ray wouldnt dare to swords dance in its face.

only palkia can really switch into kyogres devastating water spouts and i have no room for pakia on this team as mewtwo will take the role of revenge killer, so all i can do is take advantage of kyogres low speed and hit hard, then revenge kill with mewtwo

i tried the following dialga against a stall team to devastating effect

dialga @ adamant orb
ability: pressure
evs: 116 Atk / 252 SpA / 140 Spe
nature: mild (+SpA -Def
-draco meteor
-earth power
-outrage
-bulk up

thinking of replacing earth power with fire blast or flamethrower.

basically first turn my deoxys-s did 80% to lead forretress with hidden power fire while he got up toxic spikes, i went for the kill while he switched to support groudon. i switched to kyogre, he switched to blissey. basically kyogre and blissey killed each other thanks to toxic spikes and i tried to get up sr but forry spun them away later.
not only did deoxys-s do 80% to forry but also weakened groudon before getting ko,d.

the key moment was when blissey and kyogre both went down he brought in forry while i brought in dialga. he switched to groudon while i bulked up. groudon was outsped by dialga and since groudon was at 30% i ko,d with earth power.

next turn he brought in mewtwo he did reflect only to get ohko,d by draco meteor. latias got ohko,d by a crit outrage but it might have ko,d without the crit with the bulk up im not sure. my opponent then rage quit.

6 consecutive losses, 5 against the same person 3 against all ou offensive team. apparently mamoswine beats my whole team 1v1 including max hp specsogre as mamoswine is faster and 2hko with earthquake, 1hko with a crit and ho-oh and blissey completely walls my whole team. never saw a zapdos thunder ohko a dialga either even though it was a crit. heracross beats and outspeeds my whole team except mewtwo, and only if i have flamethrower in which case again ho-oh walls me. im starting to think i need more setup pokes

im not sure if this is allowed but i modified my team in the first post and looking for opinions on this team, particularly if anyone thinks another poke, moveset or ev spread can mave a better revenge killer while still resisting attacks including but not only electric.

this team just beat dragoon. so it certainly has potential. close match, garchomp kept getting the revenge kills as opposing ray and salamence both kept switching into garchomps eq aimed at his dialga then dd,ing while i switched to a sacrifice. kingdra won it for me in the end.

i just realized, i only have 1 special sweeper now :/
