Uber RMT

Uber RMT - PLEASE comment (did that sound too desperate?)

This is an Uber team that I have been using for the last couple weeks (on a simulator called "Pokemon Online", in which Arceus is not banned in case you were wondering how I tested this. However, you can't get higher than 100 EV's in each stat) No pokemon on the team are weak to dragon-type moves. I've won ~50% of battles with it. I'm new to Ubers, still, and I would really appreciate help on improving this team.

Scarf Kyogre is my lead and revenge killer. Not much to be said here, and most people know how it works since it's on >50% of Uber teams as of June. I changed one thing from the standard scarf set; I changed its nature to Modest to hit with more power. I know I'm going to be advised to change to timid, but I like using Modest nature and that's why I put it there. I'm not concerned about outrunning everything because I have a POWERFUL priority move coming from Scizor, also on my team. Scarf Kyogre (as opposed to specs Kyogre) also aids Dialga by luring out Blissey and Giratina, both of which Dialga can easily set up on.

I put Scizor on this team mainly for its powerful priority move, Bullet Punch. It picks of foes who were weakened by Kyogre or Dialga and can revenge kill Deoxys-a and Darkrai. With its defensive EV spread and the extreme commonality of dragon-type attacks in Ubers, Scizor can really take a hit. He also greatly appreciates the wish support from Blissey.

This set is AMAZING. It takes special attacks very well with its EV's and perfect typing. When I use this at the right times, I can severely damage the opponent's team. This set's three biggest threats are Groudon, Lugia, and Skarmory. I haven't seen a Skarmory in Ubers yet, but if I were to I could easily switch in Kyogre and take care of it. Lugia is countered by Blissey and Kyogre and Groudon is countered by Arceus and Lugia (normally I'll switch in Arceus though for fear of Rock Polish) You're probably thinking that implementing Toxic Spikes (and also SR for Scizor and Kyogre) on this team would be a good idea. But in order to do that I'd pretty much have to waste a spot for Forre (who I hate using since he's easily set up on) and switch a pokemon for Giratina to spin block, which I don't want to do. Also, this set counters Darkrai without Focus Blast pretty well (even if it does have focus blast it can still absorb sleep and switch to Blissey)

We all know how Blissey works. I added Blissey because I needed a counter to CM Mewtwo with Aura Sphere, Lati@s, and wish support, mainly for Scizor, Kyogre, and the other 3 on occasion.

Lugia is on my team to PHaze and come in on Fighting and Ground-type attacks aimed at Dialga and Blissey. He is my counter to Scizor, SD Arceus, and Garchomp.

Arceus@Meadow Plate
! Multitype
# Timid
EV's: 100 HP/8 Atk/100 Def/100 SpA/100 SpD/100 Spe
~Judgment
~Recover
~Psych Up
~Ice Beam

First, let me say something about the nature and EV's. Since everything is capped at 100, I am forced to use Timid nature in order to outrun a Specs Kyogre that's Timid and has 252 EV's in Speed. However, if this were not the case, my nature and EV spread would be this: #Calm, 232 HP/80 Def/72 SpD/124 Spe.

Arrceus is essential to this team and counters many threats that could otherwise lose me the battle. Namely, Specs Kyogre, Rock Polish Groudon, and CM Manaphy in the rain. I originally had CM instead of Psych Up, but I changed it because it works better in countering Manaphy (who, by the way it always outruns by 3 points) and has an added bonus of gaining speed from Groudon and can defeat other CM users in a pinch.

Thanks to all of you who read and help with my team!

Hi, not a bad attempt. However, this team is horrifically weak to Stall, with BU Dialga the only way (And not a reliable one) of breaking through. Should Toxic Spikes go up, watch your whole team die. Since your team is quick defensive in nature, I would suggest changing Scizor to Forretress:

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SpD
Nature: Careful
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes/Toxic Spikes/Explosion
-Payback
-Rapid Spin

Spinning is a good way of clearing hazards that would plague you when playing against Stall. With Forretress stacking hazards, Giratina or Giratina-O now seems like a very good alternative to Lugia to Spin-block. Choose Giratina if you want to remain defensive, but Giratina-O has nice stall-breaking abilities:

Giratina @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD
Nature: Bold/Impish
-Will-O-Wisp
-Roar/Outrage
-Sleep Talk
-Rest

or Giratina-O:

Giratina-O @ Griseus Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 84 HP / 216 SpA / 96 SpD / 112 Spe
Nature: Modest
-Calm Mind
-Substitute
-Dragon Pulse/Shadow Ball
-Shadow Ball/Thunder/Aura Sphere

or:

Giratina-O @ Griseus Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 Atk/64 SpA/192 Spe
Nature: Naive
-Outrage
-Draco Meteor
-Hidden Power Fire
-Shadow Sneak

Anyway, since Scizor and Lugia has been replaced, it would now be more prudent to get a better revenge killer. Your team will be pretty weak to Rayquaza, so using Choice Scarf Garchomp is not a bad idea for your revenge killer. I would then suggest moving Forretress to lead position:

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Dragon Claw

Finally, just a small nitpick, but:

Arrceus is essential to this team and counters many threats that could otherwise lose me the battle. Namely, Specs Kyogre, Rock Polish Groudon, and CM Manaphy in the rain.
Manaphy WILL beat your Arceus in the Rain eventually, since Grass Knot does crap-all to Manaphy due to its low weight, and it will eventually Ice Beam you to death. Therefore, I suggest changing Grass Knot to Judgement (Preferred) or Energy Ball (If you don't like the low PP) so you can actually damage Manaphy. Also, change Psych Up to Calm Mind. Since Psych Up is pretty much there to get CM users anyway, it is better to just Calm Mind alongside them anyway and be able to sweep should you not steal CMs off your opponents.

Hope I helped, good luck.

Ok firstly you have no rocks or entry hazards and no spinner therefore i agree you should be using a fortress with Shrangs setup

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SpD
Nature: Careful
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes/Toxic Spikes/Explosion
-Payback
-Rapid Spin

if you are adverse to this or wish not to replace sizcor i recommend swappping lugia to a support groundon

since yourlsoo fairly weak to all status if you dont sponge them with blissey giving blissy areomatheripy (cannot spell it so just look on blisseys moveset) which will remove all status from your team. i advise using that to replace toxic otherwise its an ok team good luck

@ 360 Swampert: Dialga is my status absorber and Blissey can take status if I need it to.

@Shrang I am definitely weak to stall. However, I tried using Forre and wall Giratina (so I don't have a major extreme killer Arceus weakness) and Scarf Palkia instead of Kyogre, and the outcome was I was still very weak to stall (maybe less, but I still got crushed by a stall team) So I was thinking I want to use the Sub-CM Giratina-O (which benefits from Blissey's wish a lot) with Forre to maybe help break stall, but then what should I do about that weakness? Also, on your Arceus suggestion, I'll definitely use Judgement since Judgement and Energy Ball have the same PP.
