The beast behind the Darkest Day has arrived once again! Eternatus’s offenses combined with its bulk makes it a consistent breaker and cleaner. Dynamax Cannon is used to eviscerate opposing Dragon-types such as Zygarde and Mega Salamence. With Dragonium Z and Draco Meteor, Eternatus rips apart offensive Yveltal, Chi-Yu, and offensive Primal Groudon with the strongest possible Devastating Drake. Fire Blast melts Steel-types such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian-C, while Sludge Bomb snipes Arceus-Fairy and Tera Fairy Zygarde. Recover lets Eternatus wreak havoc continuously, coming in on foes such as defensive Ho-Oh and Arceus-Dark. Fitting on multiple archetypes from balance to offense, Eternatus appreciates Primal Groudon threatening Necrozma-DM and Ho-Oh while it can break past Giratina-O and Zygarde in return. Entry hazards set by Primal Groudon as well as Ferrothorn can aid in wallbreaking against sturdier foes such as support Arceus-Ground. Marshadow deals with Dragon Dance Ultra Necrozma and Deoxys-A thanks to Shadow Sneak, protecting Eternatus while forming a lethal offensive duo, since they both overwhelm a shared check in Ho-Oh.
