Insanity can stem from many different reasons, be it trying to find a reliable answer for Koraidon, arguing about DPP and Farceus all day every day, playing too many eclipse mirrors to count or meeting any of the other so common tragic ends as an Ubers player...
Well, you have made the right decision and first step for betterment by signing up! But the next step is proving that you actually mean it.
In this mental facility, our methods are a bit unorthodox but I assure you, they are also of the utmost efficiency. Fight each other to demonstrate the soundness of your mind!

SV Ubers is quite popular, being the current generation. But haven't we forgotten what it's like to play pokemon as a child? Reliving fond memories like these can really put your head at ease

Hmm, but that alone would be a bit bland, wouldn't it? How about we spice it up a little

Taunt is allowed
If you successfully use Taunt in a game 3 times (can't fail or be blocked by being taunted) AND win the game, you are awarded two wins, meaning you win the set

There are a lot of common tools locked behind status moves but SV makes up for it putting that utility into some attack moves as well. Though, a lot of those can only be used by a select few non legendary Pokemon. So, how will you tread the line between raw power of legendaries and utility by lesser Pokemon? Will you run 6 Focus Sashes, assuming your opponent won't bring hazards? Only the craziest-... most sane can prevail

You are of course allowed to switch teams and sets in between rounds. If you break the rules here, a game loss will be given. Feel free to ask in the thread or via DM if anything is left unclear at any point in the tournament as well as if you need an extention. Remember, replays are required. I hope you enjoy!

Since I was asked this in private, I'll confirm here too for everyone to see:

- Ditto will be an exception to the Status move rule. Though it can only learn transform, it still fits the broader theme. Meaning Transform is allowed but only on Ditto
--> if you are put into a position where you have to click transform, you are not given a game loss

- If Taunt is reflected by magic bounce, it counts as a Taunt being used by the Magic Bounce user

- If you lose due to any circumstance while the opponent has met the condition of 3 successful Taunts, be it forfeit, use of an illegal status move or just a normal loss, it will be counted as two losses
--> if you forfeit while the opponent has put two taunts on you or less, it will only count as a single win for the opponent

No status move rule essentially only allows moves that inflict damage directly, correct?

Also, is this a Bo3 or not?
