Ho-Oh @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Earthquake
- Brave Bird
- Zen Headbutt
This is the gem. This is the MONSTER and unexpectedly good set of my team. Plus it can recover its damage with the regenerator ability. This thing can take +2 thunderbolts from the likes of XERNEAS!
And it 2 - 3HKOs it back with Sacred Fire.
It definitely 2HKOs it with Brave Bird, but I prefer Sacred Fire since it can burn and the 84% chance would be irrelevant.
Here are some more calcs to show how much of a MONSTER this thing is.
Mewtwo @ Mewtwonite X
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch
This is also an unusual set that I run. It hasn't proven its worth quite yet, but it has saved me several times in the past. Having no recovery doesn't cripple this thing at all because it's going to be handing out +2 Drain Punches.
Arceus @ Leftovers
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Brick Break
- Shadow Claw
This is a late game sweeper. I personally had more sweeps alone with my ASSAULT VEST HO-OH, but this is a second choice to consider if the Ho-Oh somehow has perished.
Kyurem-White @ Choice Specs
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Fusion Flare
Kyurem-White is good for cleaning up and leaving a large dent in the team if there's something that Ho-Oh can't somehow touch. (The only thing I can think of is Air Balloon Heatran, but there's no way it can knock out Ho-Oh (even with ancient power) before it takes out its air balloon and earthquakes.
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind
This is to make sure nothing harms the teammates. It's also to prevent Mega Kangaskhan from sweeping, which happens often. My Skarmory puts a stop to it, and takes it out of there.
Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Geomancy
- Flash Cannon
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt
Really good for sweeping as well. Nobody sees the thunderbolt coming. Most teams are unprepared for Power Herb Xerneas, so they then just get slaughtered by it.
That's the entire team. I hope you like it.
