Ubers Team. Woo Hoo.

Yo! How's it going, everyone? Got myself (Finally) a balanced ubers team of myself. So far it has been working great for me on Pokemon Online and DS and stuff and thought, why not post it on RMT. So here we are:

483.gif

Diend (Dialga) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder
- Aura Sphere
- Dragon Pulse

I guess you can call my Dialga somewhat an anti-lead and lead Darkrai check. Personally, I mainly need to for Dark Void Darkrais, Scarf Zekrom and Reshiram in which I can take the hits since it isn't super effective and a revenge kill itself. I put Aura Sphere over Fire Blast is 'cos of rain and Ferrothorns and Forretress are just this annoying for me. Dragon Pulse over Outrage just in case if my Dialga can finally sweep through my opponent's team so I won't get confused and I got the sheer amount of brutal power.

445.gif

Hibiki (Garchomp) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Toxic

My main revenge killer and second Scarf Pokemon. I think you all know this set by now, so I don't think I need to explain it. But as for Toxic over Fire Fang, I personally can scare my opponent off and go for an unexpected Toxic on them and I guess Earthquake is enough to deal with Ferrothorns and Foretress. Stone Edge just got Ho-Ohs and other stuff. But I may consider about replacing Stone Edge for Fire Fang. I dunno yet.

248.gif

Dark Kiva (Tyranitar) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Polish
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Superpower

Ahh... Nothing says like the good ol' Rock Polish Physical Tyranitars. So far I've seen Special ones or Mixed Tars that setup Rocks. But I decide this one is a very good ubers sweeper with Rock Polish and its a sure unexpected set since now you see special ones. Superpower over Brick Break is 'cos I'd rather kill Dialgas or something like that then letting it live and go more damage. With Life Orb and adamant, I'm sure he'll do great.

493geist.gif

Fouze (Arceus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
Trait: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Force
- ExtremeSpeed
- Earthquake

BOO! Did he scared you? Anyway, a spin blocker, and a counter to those freaking annoying Lugias and a physical sweeper. I need Extremespeed is 'cos I need priority, and Earthquake is just for Pokes that resists my hits like Steel-Types. Although my Arceus isn't really meant to deal with Skarmory since I got others to finish the job already.

384-3.gif

Ryuga (Rayquaza) @ Life Orb
Trait: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast

Shiny Rayquaza is just this epic as hell... Like seriously... To make it better, it's another Swords Dance set, how amusing. Anyhow, why Timid? I need the power to murder once again, Ferrothorns, Foretress and Skarmory too got a chance and I figured Earthquake is too common so a Fire Blast isn't gonna be expected. Even with Timid, I still got a decent amount of Attack stats so it isn't really too much big of a deal for me. The rest of the moves are pretty standard so yeah. Nothing else to explain.

598.gif

Zeronos (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 200 Def / 52 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Power Whip

The Final member and the guy that sets up entry hazards and the man who is to cripple the crap out of dangerous sweepers and annoying walls. I also figured Power Whip would be better over Leech Seed since I'd rather kill than stall then they can get the crap out and lose my chance to stop something annoying. Although I may consider about changing it. Who knows. For now, it is working wonders.

So I guess that is basically all now. Felt like this is the first solid ubers team I ever made. I know that I lack of special attackers but so far, it hasn't caused too much problem and it works. So yeah. Tell me what do you guys think.

Thanks!

First off you need to change dialga's nature to timid because it has no physical attacks, and rayquaza's to +spe/-def or +spe/-SpD.

I would say that since you're not running kyogre yourself, fire blast is a decent option for dialga and not to be dismissed on the chance of the enemy having one, and it still hits ferrothorn hard in rain.

On the garchomp, without an SD ferrothorns can stall out your garchomp for quite a while, running fire fang is a good idea (and you shouldn't drop stone edge).

I'm unconvinced about that double status ferrothorn, it doesn't look like it would live very long without leech seed so i can't see it getting many status effects off and the only things you might manage to land a good power whip on are groudon and manaphy, as i can't see a kyogre staying in to eat one.

You may want to change ghost arceus's EQ to brick break as it still hits steels hard, but it then lets you hit extremekiller arceus much harder, which looks like it would cause your team huge problems, although that wouldn't fix the extremekiller problem entirely. Also if you're in dream world, ghost arceus can't actually take out lugia unless your rocks are up, with multiscale and reflect a +4 shadow force only does somewhere in the region of 60%

Oh shit-! I forgot to change Dialga's nature. A poor mistake on my part there. Thanks for pointing that out! And the reason why I put Aura Sphere is also 'cos I wanna take out Arceus, mainly fodder something then safely send in Dialga and feeling positive to take 2 Earthquakes from Arceus and 2HKO Arceus with Aura Sphere instead of Draco Meteor to get my special attack dropped and will result in such a harder time for me.

As for Rayquaza, I may considered about changing too, Just for now I'll stay with Timid to see how further it can do well.

For Garchomp, I wouldn't dare to even Outrage when Ferrothorn is alive and would Earthquake instead depending on who my current opponent's Poke is before he even tries to send in his own Ferrothorn.

For Ferrothorn, yeah.. Guess Leech Seed is better. I kinda forgot about that I still have like, 2 Lugia checks on my team. Lol.

As for Arceus, good point there, will change to Brick Break as soon as possible.

Thanks for pointing most of 'em out! Will keep everything on note for furture use!

I´m not too experienced with offensive teams, but still there are a few things that I would change:
As Chappers said, change Rayquaza´s nature to hasty or naive. It´s defenses aren´t worth sacrificing attacking power for, because almost every strong/super effective hit will bring it down anyway.

Definitely use Leech Seed on Ferrothorn if you´re going to keep Toxic, otherwise, Ferro would go down too fast to outstall something.
And since the rest of your team is really fast and offensive I don´t understand why you need TW. Outspeeding threats does not seem like a big problem to me. You could replace that for Leech Seed.

And I think you also could consider Recover over Extreme Speed on Arceus. It makes it easier to set up, and your team looks fast enough as it is.

A lot of good and true points you made there. *Changes a lot of my mistakes* Thanks so much for pointing it out! Appreciate it very much.

Herp derp... Scarf Dialga??? Smart. Nicely played. It makes a great Ubers Anti-Lead, and can take Dragon moves nicely... Overall, a pretty smart poke to use. I don't understand the reasoning behind Thunder however... Especially if you're running a sand starter. I think maybe T-Bolt might be smarter... Even if you're trying to counter lead Kyogres, which is honestly the only use for it...

TOXIC!??!!? TOXIC!??!?!?!?!!?!??!!? TTOOXIICC!?!?!?!? -facepalm-
Errmm... yyyyyeeeeeeeahh. Props for originality, but fire fang is SO MUCH MOAR USEFUL. Plus, none of your pokes are really defensive enough to seriously benefit from it... Just not the best idea bro.

Nicely done. Its an amazing surprise set, and You really did well here. Nothing moar to say.

Shadow Force???? Over Shadow Claw??!?!?!? Oh lord... 2-turn attacks just say "SET UP ON ME!!!" Especially extremekiller, Who can switch-in with good enough Prediction, set up SD, and OHKO you with Shadow Claw... But otherwise, I think This set is pretty solid. But I still think Shadow claw is better then Shadow force on him.

Ryuga (Rayquaza) @ Life Orb

This is awesome. Great job. Good idea on the fire blast too.

Nicely done Megas, better then my shitty Ubers team at least. LOL.
(Oh btw this is J****n if you haven't already figured it out.)

Extremespeed on ghost arceus is good, +2 brick break + extremespeed KOs the standard extremekiller, so bringing in a ghostceus on the same turn as ekiller results in ghost always winning barring crits

Use Timid over hasty because you have no Physical Attacks.

Shadow Force is often subject to Chansey switch ins, wasting your turn.

A few tweaks, hope I helped(:

Specsogre can give this team some problems, seeing as that every switch in is 1-2hkoed by one of its moves. Too somewhat alleviate this problem, I recommend switching garchomp or dialga out for a scarfkia. Palkia can serve as a reliable check to specsogre whenever it does switch in while living to tell the tale of a spout, thunder, or ice beam. The choice scarf enables it to still revenge kill like garchomp or dialga (if your looking for an anti-lead try specs dialga with evs to speed creep) and is over all just better glue.

For those that think dialga can switch into specs ogre here's what a modest specs spout does, 335 - 395 (97.95% - 115.50%).

You've already got a Scarfer in Garchomp, so I'd drop the Scarf on your Dialga and use a bulky support set to give you SR, freeing up a moveslot on Ferrothorn for Spikes. Your team abuses multiple hazards really well with its solid defensive synergy, late-game sweeper and you've already got a spinblocker in Ghost Arceus. You'll definitely need a bulkier set if you want to stick around, and if you drop Dialga's Scarf, you'll need a way to beat lead Darkrai, so try

Arceus @ Spooky Plate | Timid | 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Magic Coat | Flamethrower |Judgment | Recover

---
The other thing I noticed is the rather odd Rock Polish Tyranitar. Groudon completely outclasses him in this department, with more bulk, more power, and it's not weak to the most common priority move in ubers, Bullet Punch, so give him a shot. Lastly, I think Rayquaza would be more effective by running a mixed set since it can lure in and break down physical walls with Draco Meteor, making it easier for Groudon to sweep late-game. Good luck with the team.
