I don't see an introduction thread around here, so:
Hello, Smogon.
I have been lurking around these boards on and off for at least six months now, and I think it's about time I registered.
I heard about this site from a friend who introduced me to competitive pokemon a couple of years ago. Now he's challenging me to a battle, and I'm about halfway done with a team that I will use for this purpose (I will not say what kind of team just yet as I want it to be a surprise, and I don't know if he is a member on here or not.).
So, here I am. Also, what are some of the things I should avoid doing on here? I mean, besides the obvious, like trolling, there seems to be things that each message board seems to find particularly distasteful. Are there any I should avoid?
