Team UW:
630.png

Mandibuzz (F)

Nature: Brave
+1 Attack, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion

Type: Dark / Flying
Dark: Dark STAB; immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Ability: Overcoat
Overcoat (Innate):
This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).

Breloom (M)

Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Spa.)

Type: Grass / Fighting
Grass:Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.
Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Ability:
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.

Type: Psychic
Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Ability: Forewarn
Forewarn (Innate):
This Pokemon is more adept than usual at sensing and reacting to the opponent's attacks. As a result, it gets a bonus move substitution that must have a condition in the format "If Pokemon X uses move Y", with no further qualifiers or additional clauses allowed. This bonus substitution may go anywhere in the list of substitutions the pokemon makes, but it must be indicated with "Bonus" or "Bonus Sub" or something similar in front of the bonus substitution.

Roxanne Staraptor (F)

Nature: Jolly (+Spe, +15 Acc., -SpAtk)

Type: Normal / Flying
Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Ability:
Intimidate: (Can be Activated) When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Reckless (DW-Unlocked): (Innate) This Pokemon has an innately aggressive nature that lets it use all-out attacks with recoil more effectively. Recoil attacks from this Pokemon have two (2) more Base Attack Power, and recoil percentage is unaffected.

Well, let's try ourselves with this one, after going through every possibility and having seen all the possible futures to be. I have no doubt that Swalot is our best shot at a good start, so Valjean take this Wise Glasses, It's a shame Gluttony isn't of better use though but it's not like we can help with that. With your new hipster look get us on the path to our first victory. So, let's GO!

Good job so far Valjean, it's pretty impressive what you've managed so far so you better take a little rest, we should start switching out for Roxanne to finish this off, a bird crash it is, or maybe not depending on what will happen next, though either way we should be able to do some damage so take this little rock and let us see how awesome you really are

Calling out Ullar, who, maybe knowingly maybe not, changed his actions after I had already posted mine (you can see it clearly on his edit time), and should have used his original actions (which made Walrein use Sheer Cold + Blizzard A2) and thus Staraptor should be intact and Walrein should have a sh'ton of energy less.

Yeah, confirming this - two edits, Gerard posted at 8:50:06 PM, Ullar posted at 8:36:19 PM, editing the post twice, once at 8:50:51 PM and once at 8:51:01 PM. Both edits made after Gerard's post, so we can quite easily revert to the original post...

Perhaps I am falling into your trap, but no matter. Tusk. Eliminate this rabble.

Counterswitching to Tusk the Walrein @ Ice Gem
- Tusk: Hail > Blizzard + Sheer Cold combo (Gem) > Cooldown (Blizzard + Sheer Cold combo (Gem))
IF Protect A2, use Aqua Ring and push actions down
If a Substitute is up by the time you would perform the combo, replace all subsequent actions with Ice Beam

Reffing should be redone - Ullar, this sort of mistake is not welcome. Consider this a warning.

Fixing it now.

EDIT: Fixed, but more funky formatting. Gonna have to fix that too I guess.
EDIT 2: My computer hates me. More funky formatting. Not fixing that because...

Staraptor is not in the best shape in here, and we don't want to suffer from that do we?, so we should start switching out (again!), Roxanne, what do you say we take a nice little break and let Jean Paul continue it from here, I'm afraid of what could happen if we get too exhausted for fighting this powerful enemy so let him take it from here, my blue not-so-little blob is ready to finish that mighty glacier, though I'm worried without his glasses we might be unable to be as certain as we were but I'm confident we can take on Mr. Tusk right here.
317.png

PS: There's an error in the calcs, CC does: ( 12 + 3 ) x 1.5 = 22.5 x 2 = 45 dmg, so Tusk should have 8 less hp (after considering Ice Body A1)

Where's the STAB coming from? Staraptor is Normal/Flying.
EDIT: Durp. That's the attack rank boost.

VSWill.png

.
I have a little feeling we're not gonna come out of here without a few icicles on your wonderful mustache, but with the weather on our side our odds seem to be significantly better than they would otherwise, we just need to make sure not to fall into his tricks.
