Well i really love Umbreon, and so i decided to make a Team based on it -> My First BP-Team.
I've seen many BP-Teams around, but no1 of them were using the move Mean Look - and i dont know why. I mean, ML trapps a Pokemon and so you're able to BP around w/o any trouble, aren't you?
Well, i wanted to find that out and so i tried to built my first BP-Team ever, and that came out:

Jolteon.png

Volshock (Jolteon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Yawn
- Thunderbolt

My Lead. It's important that your opponent won't realize that you're using a BP-Team ( to not call their Roarer/WWer ), that's why i am using Jolteon as my Lead and not Ninjask anymore.
What i also wanted was a 50% succesfull BP to my Umbreon, that means my lead had to be fast and my opponent should not expect a Substitude from it, so that it won't taunt my Lead but just use Lightscreen/Reflect/SR or anything else.
If he won't use these support moves but just attacking my SUB, so that I'm not able to BP the SUB to my Umbreon, i usually use Yawn to force a switch and then I'm trying to SUB/Pass again, but usually my Jolteon dies after using Yawn and so i'll switch in my Umbreon into a Yawn'd Pokemon, what means that i've got a free turn ( He may switch OR fall sleep after 1 turn ).
And if that doesn't work, my Jolt dies w/o doin anything but that's NoProblem, i can do fine w/o him, too :)
TB may be useful in the late game when my Lucario failed against the last Pokemon for example, but i never used it.

Umbreon.png

Heartbreaker (Umbreon) (F) @ Chople Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/166 Spd/92 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

- Baton Pass
- Mean Look
- Yawn
- Protect

Everything is based on it. If he's dead, i'll leave the battle.
Always great if Umbreon has got the SUB from Jolteon because of the free turn, so its counters wont trouble that much. I usually use this: 1. MeanLook 2. Yawn 3. Protect 4. BP
Works very well imo.
Chople Berry for weakning Fightning moves, this is really needed.
Im just not sure with the EVs, because i really don't think that i need 166 Speed EVs. Well i just looked it up @ Smogon, maybe you could help me with it.

smeargle.png

Slitherin (Smeargle) (F) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 96 HP/120 Def/252 Spd/40 SDef
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Spore
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Belly Drum

The Standart BellyDrum Smeargle. BP'd from Embreon, so the opponent is still sleeping most of the time. If not and smeargle gets attacked, i'm lost because im not able to use BellyDrum anymore. Well but that doesnt trouble me since it happened only 1 time in ~50 battles.
On Smeargle i use this: 1. Substitude, 2. BD, 3. BatonPass, but if the opponent pokemon wakes up, i Spore it and then im using the other moves.

zapdos.png

Trouble (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Agility
- Roost

Another thing i needed is Speed. First i used an Agility Scizor, but i totally forgot about Zapdos ( what is actually better ), since a m8 remembered me.
Mostly I'm using 1 Agility only, and then trying to BP or SUB/BP. 1 Agility is enough and it's done pretty fast, so the opponent pokemon won't wake up from its sleep maybe.
I dont use Speed EVs on it because after Smeargles Spore the opponents pokemon is usually still sleeping, and that gives me a free turn where i'm using Agility.
Roost is useful when Zapdos gets CritHaxed.

lucario.opng

Lucario.png

Mario (Lucario) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Ice Punch
- Crunch

SW33P T1M3: The Power of this Team, my only Attacker.
First i used Gyara, now Lucario. But i have to say that both work very well, so maybe i will give Gyara a try again, soon.
I used it with LifeOrb first, but i realized that it was very bad since they usually wait until i killed 4-5 pokemon (also with CloseCombat sometimes, what means -DEF and -SDEF), and then they hit back with Scizors BulletPunch or something that OHKOs Lucario. But i also have to say that i never tried out Extremespeed against FullHP Scizor. It may OHKO them lol...
The other thing are FocusSash user. Happened 1 time now only, against a Heatran, and i was lucky that its FireBlast missed. So i may think about StealthRock for breaking their Sashs.
Lucarios movepool works against anything. I used Earthquake before but then wasnt able to OHKO Gliscor then, so i changed it with Ice Punch.

Needed a last Pokemon, i decided:

vaporeon.opng

Vaporeon.png

Vanish (Vaporeon) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 128 HP/252 Def/128 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Roar
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Wish

1 Spot was free in my Team, and i chose a Bulky Wish/Roarer. Roar against SUB User which trouble me sometimes, and Wish is helpful for getting some of my Pokemon healed.
Both moves helped me already, but i think of putting in a SD/BP/SUB/ROOST Scizor, just if Smeargle fails.

Yep that's it. I really love this team, it's always fun2play :)

The strategy is clear i think: MeanLook any non Taunt/Roar/WW/Explosion Poke and BP around your Team until Lucario starts to sweep. That means that that Pokemon you trapped should not die (via Explosion or whatever), because then your opponent can do whatever he want to, and that's bad for this team.
But I'm sure that this Team needs a lot of work, though. I won about 50% of my battles with it, and i think its 'ok'. But i guess there are some things i could make better, the problem is that i have no idea what these things are. As i said, never made a BP-Team, it was a totally new experience for me.
Those Problems i had with this team:

1. Umbreon MeanLooks a Roarer/WWer

Well sure i wont MeanLook these, but they switch into my MeanLook move sometimes, and then im almost owned. I have to switch Umbreon out in that situation, and come back into play. Sounds like this is NoProblem, but if im switching in my Umbreon again, my opponent ( if he's smart ) would switch in his Roarer/WWer again. And then the same game again.

2. Umbreon MeanLooks a U-Turner

Ye, that means: GameOver. MeanLook isnt doing anything, and U-Turn OHKOs Umbreon ( If it's from Scizor or anything else strong ). And if it doesn't OHKO, then he'll switch it in again and easily get a 2HKO.

3. Taunter

Yea, happened 1 time only when my Umbreon MeanLooked a Gyara which used Taunt ofc. Struggle Time = GameOver.

4. Focus Sash

That's the last problem i have, Focus Sash User while Lucario is sweeping. I really need SR, but i have no idea how to bring that into my team. If Lucario is down im lost of course.

Yo that are my 'only' (i think) Problems now.
Maybe you can help me fixing these problems or just help me with my whole team, any suggestions or tipps or whatever are welcome, and i would like to know what you guys think about that team :X
