Umbreon's great defensive stats and Dark typing allow it to serve as the tier's premier special wall, checking dangerous special attackers such as Chandelure, Polteageist, and Necrozma as well as physical threats such as Doublade and Choice Scarf Flygon by virtue of its access to Foul Play and solid mixed defenses. Access to Wish and Heal Bell, combined with its decent HP stat and great bulk, also allows Umbreon to serve as a highly effective cleric and Wish passer. Protect enables Umbreon to reliably heal itself with Wish and scout common Choice item users such as Pangoro, Sirfetch'd, Gardevoir, and Haxorus, although Umbreon should confirm their items before doing this to prevent being used as setup fodder. Toxic is an option over Heal Bell that allows Umbreon to cripple bulky Water-types and Incineroar on top of certain switch-ins such as Pangoro and Golisopod while putting more pressure on Celebi; however, it is unable to affect a lot of common switch-ins to Umbreon such as Galarian Weezing, Cobalion, and Lucario. Taunt is another alternative option that allows Umbreon to maintain momentum and prevent itself being used as setup fodder by Pokemon such as Lucario and Cobalion on forced switches, shut down common defensive Pokemon such as Gigalith, Rhyperior, Mantine, Milotic, and Bronzong, and prevent itself from being poisoned by slower Pokemon such as Bronzong.

Umbreon fits mainly on balance teams that appreciate its Wish support and ability to check dangerous wallbreakers such as Chandelure and Necrozma. Offensive Galarian Weezing is one of its best teammates, being able to check Fighting-types such as Pangoro and offer Defog support while maintaining a higher level of offensive presence. In return, it appreciates Umbreon helping keep it healthy with Wish and checking Pokemon such as Espeon and Chandelure. Bulky Water-types such as Mantine and Jellicent are fantastic partners, with Mantine being able to help check Doublade and Chandelure and Jellicent handling one of Umbreon's hardest counters in Cobalion. Both Pokemon can also help to check Lucario, albeit with Jellicent being unable to check Nasty Plot variants. In return, they greatly appreciate Umbreon's cleric support. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Bronzong can help check Gardevoir, Celebi, and Roserade; Escavalier can switch into Sleep Powder Roserade, while Bronzong checks Galarian Weezing. In return, they appreciate Umbreon's Wish support. Noivern can help to offensively check Pokemon such as Machamp, Araquanid, and Cobalion that can take advantage of Umbreon while also helping to break defensive cores with Taunt or providing Defog support. It appreciates Umbreon being able to pivot into checks such as Ice Beam Milotic.

Umbreon's great defensive stats and Dark typing allow it to serve as the tier's premier special wall, checking dangerous special attackers such as Chandelure, Polteageist, Sigilyph, and Venusaur, as well as other physical? I assume this is what you are trying to imply threats such as Doublade, Necrozma, and Mamoswine by virtue of its access to Foul Play and solid mixed defenses. Access to Wish and Heal Bell also allow Umbreon to serve as a highly effective cleric and Wish passer. Simply having access to Wish and Heal Bell doesn't automatically make it a good cleric. Link it to its bulk and decent HP stat. Protect allows Umbreon to scout common Choice item users such as Pangoro, Gardevoir, and Haxorus, although Umbreon should confirm their items before doing this to prevent being used as set up fodder. The first thing you should be mentioning is how Protect lets it reliably heal itself with Wish then you can talk about scouting. Taunt is an alternative option over Heal Bell that allows Umbreon to maintain momentum on switches it forces, to preventing switch ins such as Cobalion and Lucario from using it as set up fodder, as well as letting it shut down common prevents entry hazard setters such as Gigalith, Rhyperior, and Bronzong from setting Stealth Rock, and prevent itself being Poisoned by slower Toxic users such as Bronzong. This whole point about Taunt needs to be condensed thoroughly and moved to the end while adding the downsides of opting for it over Heal Bell or Toxic. Toxic is another option that allows Umbreon to put more pressure on Celebi and cripple bulky Water-types and opposing Umbreon I don't see a reason to use opposing Umbreon as one of the main examples when you just Synchronize the poison onto yourself too. Use Incineroar instead. , however common switch ins to Umbreon such as Cobalion and Weezing-Galar are unaffected by it, This is just fluff and the utility provided by Heal Bell or Taunt is generally superior. No need for this point with Taunt unslashed. Umbreon can further opt to run 136 speed EVs when running Taunt, allowing it to outspeed and shut down Vaporeon, Milotic, Mantine, and Jellicent, and therefore put further pressure on defensive teams, however this prevents Umbreon from reliably switching into Choice Specs Chandelure. No.

Umbreon fits mainly on balance teams that appreciate its Wish support and ability to check dangerous wallbreakers such as Chandelure and Necrozma. Offensive Weezing-Galar Pretty sure it needs to be written as Galarian Weezing, and remove offensive as either set is useable with it. You don't really give any info as to why it should be offensive anyways. is one of the best teammates for Umbreon, being able to provide a fantastic Fighting-resist This just sounds weird, just say it can check fighting types for Umbreon and Defog support, and in return appreciates Umbreon helping to keep it healthy with Wish and check Pokemon such as Espeon and Chandelure. Weezing-Galar can also choose to run Aromatherapy, allowing Umbreon to freely run Taunt to improve its matchup against bulky teams. As it stands I don't think Aroma on Weezing should be slashed, so remove this line Bulky Water-types such as Mantine and Jellicent are fantastic partners for Umbreon, with Mantine being able to help Umbreon check Doublade and Chandelure, and Jellicent handling one of Umbreon's hardest counters in Cobalion. Both Pokemon can also help to check Lucario for Umbreon; albeit Jellicent being unable to check special sets, and in return greatly appreciate Umbreon's cleric support. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Bronzong can help to check Gardevoir, Celebi, and Roserade, and in return appreciate Umbreon's Wish support. Bronzong can furthermore check Galarian Weezing Again no real need to specify offensive, both are equally annoying for it Offensive Weezing-Galar and provide Stealth Rock support, while Escavalier can provide a great balance breaker and a fantastic switch in to Sleep Powder Roserade. While this is great and all, it really isn't that important to bring up for Umbreon of all Mons. SR support and Escav being a breaker really doesn't have much to do with it. Fit the Sleep Powder thing about Roserade in the first sentence. Noivern can help to offensively check Pokemon such as Machamp, Araquanid, and Cobalion that can take advantage of Umbreon, while also helping to break defensive cores with Taunt or providing Defog support, and appreciates Umbreon being able to pivot into checks such as Ice Beam Milotic.

Umbreon's great defensive stats and Dark typing allow it to serve as the tier's premier special wall, checking dangerous special attackers such as Chandelure, Polteageist, and Venusaur (replace this example with Necrozma, which works better under special attackers in this context and can't bypass Umbreon as easily), as well as physical threats such as Doublade, Necrozma, and Mamoswine (I'd replace this example with maybe Choice Scarf Flygon since Mamoswine can break uninvested Umbreon fairly easily) by virtue of its access to Foul Play and solid mixed defenses. Access to Wish and Heal Bell combined with its decent HP stat and great bulk also allow Umbreon to serve as a highly effective cleric and Wish passer. Protect allows Umbreon to reliably heal itself with Wish and scout common Choice item users such as Pangoro(consider replacing Panda with Sirfetch'd or just adding it as another example here), Gardevoir, and Haxorus, although Umbreon should confirm their items before doing this to prevent being used as set up fodder. Toxic is an option over Heal Bell that allows Umbreon to cripple bulky Water-types and Incineroar as well as switch ins such as Pangoro and Sirfetch'd (replace Fetch'd with maybe Golisopod, considering switching it in usually results in getting scouted w/ Protect), while putting more pressure on Celebi, however it is unable to affect a lot of common switch ins to Umbreon such as Galarian Weezing, Cobalion, and Lucario. Taunt is an alternative option that allows Umbreon to maintain momentum and prevent itself being used as set up fodder by Pokemon such as Lucario and Cobalion on forced switches, while shutting down common defensive Pokemon such as Gigalith, Rhyperior, and Bronzong (these examples work fine though I also think it'd make sense including Pokemon with recovery moves, like Milotic and/or Mantine) and preventing itself from being Poisoned by slower Pokemon. such as Bronzong.

Umbreon fits mainly on balance teams that appreciate its Wish support and ability to check dangerous wallbreakers such as Chandelure and Necrozma. Offensive Weezing-Galar is one of the best teammates for Umbreon, being able to check Fighting-types such as Pangoro for Umbreon and offer Defog support while maintaining a higher level of offensive presence, and in return appreciates Umbreon helping to keep it healthy with Wish and check Pokemon such as Espeon and Chandelure. Bulky Water-types such as Mantine and Jellicent are fantastic partners for Umbreon, with Mantine being able to help Umbreon check Doublade and Chandelure, and Jellicent handling one of Umbreon's hardest counters in Cobalion. Both Pokemon can also help to check Lucario for Umbreon; albeit Jellicent being unable to check special sets, and in return greatly appreciate Umbreon's cleric support. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Bronzong can help to check Gardevoir, Celebi, and Roserade, with Escavalier being able to switch into Sleep Powder Roserade and Bronzong additionally checking Galarian Weezing for Umbreon, and in return appreciate Umbreon's Wish support.
