Tournament UMPL V - Commencement

I'm super disappointed about my preps this tour, I expected better from me on this side so first of all sorry to all my teammates for the poor performance. Luckily yall were just too good lmao, it feels really great to win a teamtour once again and I loved every single week of this tour, I'm really glad I was part of this it was super super fun.

Frito Last time we talked before the tour you were like "yeah I'm kinda stopping mons I'm not having as much fun and lack time but I'll maybe manage UMPL", didn't expect to be part of your team but you made the right decision, also for someone who doesn't have the time you were very imo. Also you had a very good run which definitely mattered a lot in getting us the win, you can stop mons now if you want but return next UMPL plz.

crow crumbs Nuxl I didn't know you before this tour I'm ngl but I really liked your managing, you're fun people to interact with and always here to help or make sure everything is running fine. It's not random if your team won you greatly fulfilled your managers roles and I had a very good time, I'm sorry I've been terrible af this tour until Terra who don't play AG opened my eyes on prep.

Lyna Sorry you couldn't play your main tier this season, thanks for showing up in AG tho, it was a very good experience, funnier when playing together than diff teams. Par contre arrête de stresser avant tes games putain tu jettes trop de games comme ça alors que je me fais niquer en test :sob: et joue umbreon la prochaine fois aussi il est mignon et t'a rien fait de mal (en AGWL :eyes:). Mais jsuis content qu'on puisse enfin partager une victoire de ttour, surtout après que t'aies lose en finale l'année dernière. La prochaine fois qu'on gagne un tour smogon ensembles ce sera en caps :fire: Swas can you please tell her to stop stressing in games and take time cuz we're not in a rush plz, seems like it doesn't work when it comes from me........... also Glory (he'll reply "fuck you" but idgaf) please confirm Umbreon is goated.

Terracotta Dude. You were the awesome support we all needed LOL. You build millions of teams for every tiers every week and you're super open minded when we discuss the weirdest stuff. I loved building with you for AG and trying to mix my ttar with your spedef glisc, too bad we never used yk what. I didn't like the tier much but with your builds I like it way more, ditto glisc ttar was super fun to use. Oh and you're not going anywhere else than same team than me for AGWL btw, we got to build more teams.

xinnobu (Are you a professionnal drawer or what) Sorry you might not have played as much as you'd have liked to, huge thanks for covering us nonetheless, never played with you before but I enjoyed it, I find interesting how you think in prep. Ngl It'd be fun to mate again in AGWL and see how it goes. The art is really clean btw.

Fille Not the first time we play in the same team for a ttour, you always feel very friendly and fun to interact with, I really enjoy teaming up with you for ttours even if we don't play the same tiers, I hope we'll meet in more teamtours (and you'll play first and lose to enable rest of the team to win ofc).

Kaif LogIce Broken 2v2 core, impossible to lose the tour with you two in the team, incredible record in 2v2 btw Kaif, initially wanted to try and look more 2v2 but ended up super busy unfort. Also gratz to you LogIce for being the BO5 that won us the tournament, what a moment LOL.

DripLegend noooo I'm sorry I have no idea about 1v1 :sob: you greatly contributed to this win tho so huge congratz!!!

Iride Ubers UU is so weird, how can gastrodon and Dialga coexist?? You def should've used it every week tho, looks like DM just kill everything (Glory diagla mentionned).

Nashrock bleahey vooper NFE can be weird at times but thanks for always being there to build a team and ensure the slot was running, sadly I didn't have the time to help NFE more so thanks for taking care of it, you did great guys may we meet again in NFEPL.

PlayaBeavs I have no idea about ZU but I've seen you were super super active in the slot, running scouts and builds and getting us the wins right when we needed it, great work and I wish you gl in your future tours!

Obviously thanks to every helper who helped us to win the tournament!!

ggs manes, y'all being the only team i lost to is kinda crazy tbh, i wanna quickly shout-out crow crumbs for their amazing 2v2 building, especially in the drip match with the charti canion, those really rocked (pun not intended) tbh, also kinda crazy that we met for a second time in umpl finals and i couldn't stand up to even get to a tie, ig i fold easily under pressure.

since i'm the first kingdra to post here, might as well shout-out the rest of the gang (obviously gonna be a lot more focused in 1v1 and 2v2 due to what i do).

Lacks, Quinn & Dugtrio Is Broken y'all put in a lot of effort and should not think went in vain, most of these losses just came down to bad mus in general, it still sucks a lot that that was the one curse we couldn't break but y'all are still really good at the game, don't get disheartened, i hope to see some of y'all play in the PL coming up.
Taka congrats on your 8-1 record man, you truly deserved it, uhhh idk what else to say i'm bad with words.
Horii, Ivar57 & LustfulLice definitely the tier i kept up the least with, i'm glad for y'all's records tho and you guys' presence in the cord was undeniable, great job overall and hope to see y'all soon!
Ninja, THE_CHUNGLER & hida another tier i wasn't able to keep much track of, but another one with really good records as well as great presence in the cord, always cheering on, especially hida, who despite joining later and despite being in the bench for the entire season, still had a great presence in the cord, so great stuff from everyone in here!
Jojen & Skyiew great records, great season, great everything, ty for being there, sorry we couldn't get a win again skyiew, gl to both on everything.

RADU despite your work, WC, and literally everything life could've thrown to you, you still came out with a 4-4 record in hand, honestly, this is still some high level stuff, and in Bo7 no less, you were able to redeem yourself vs fancy and everything, although that hydro pump miss did end up mattering a whole lot in the finals, it's overall been a pleasure to work with you in 1v1 despite how little we actually worked, and i hope we get drafted together for some 1v1 tour together!
Mist i really had my hopes high for you ever since pl ix tbh, it seemed like you had it in you to be the newest bo7er in the block, and honestly? so far so good! you've been growing at a constant pace and that 6-3 record shows that, and with a win in both playoffs matches, it shows your strength in tour. i think that by 1v1 pl x you'll be a solid bo7 pick for sure.
LittEleven this was the thing i was most afraid of when i started out in umpl, you're a super-strong player in both 1v1 and 2v2, and probably if you had been subbed in for me in finals i wouldn't be making this post right now, but i wondered if i'd even get the chance to talk to you before the tour started, and in the first weeks it wouldn't seem like we would be talking much, but in the later weeks we started talking a bit more, concentrating on the metagame and the opponents we had to beat, discussing my teams etc, so with certainty now i can say that you're one of the greatest players that i've been able to talk to, discuss, and win games with, so yeah, thank you for everything.
IcyPenguin2 you were probably more invaluable than you give yourself credit for, your timing for tests was undeniably perfect and it allowed me to win games at the right times, so thank you for that.
Evie i still don't know how you went for less than me, you're such a stellar player, when i tested with you i always questioned my abilities in 2v2, i thought i wouldn't be competent enough, even if i tried, and yet i topped the pool and you didn't, it feels so unfair. you should've topped that pool. your plays are always spot-on, it's insane to me. i don't know how to put it into any more words really, other than you deserved more than this. but yeah, thank you for being there.
Baddy Fragments thank you for considering me, i know it was kry that dm'd me and probably was the one that brought me into discussion, specifically for 2v2, considering that everyone else that considered me was probably doing it for 1v1, but still, thank you for your continued support, you two are great managers.
Kry i have no words to express my gratitude to you man, you made my 7-2 record possible, just. thank you so much for everything.
