ORAS OU Underrated squad! Mega gardevoir team ft. Ddance tyrantrum

Hi all! I made a mega gardevoir team again and wanted some help with it as it has glaring flaws:

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Taunt

Nothing special here and a very standard set. This functions as my teams wallbreaker. Hyper voice is very powerful with pixilate and alongside with taunt allows me to break down walls that don't resist hyper voice such as mega slowbro. Psyshock is so I can hit chansey on the physical side and do nice damage to mega venusaur. I personally hate focus blast but there is no other fighting move I could give gardevoir other than hp fighting which is weak in terms of power. Focus blast let's me hit ferrothorn for massive damage.

Tyrantrum @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Head Smash
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

Tyrantrum along with mega gardevoir is what I choose to build this team around. I choose lum berry so that I can lure in thundurus and pick it off with head smash and earthquake is better than fire fang because I have magneton to trap steels. Dragon dance is used to set up and sweep. I thought this along with gardevoir would be bad because scizor and sand offense scares this core away however I've been using it to great successful so far.

Magneton @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power Fire

I had no idea that Magneton was somewhat viable in OU. And boy does this thing check a lot of things that Magnezone would potentially lose to like talonflame and most importantly weavile thanks to its base 70 speed. Volt switch let's me have some initiative and hp fire let's me kill ferrothorn and scizor. Thunderbolt let's me electrocute starmory and hit some water types like politoed. Flash cannon let's me do solid damage to fairies. Magneton works well with gardevoir and makes a dragmag core with tyranitrum. Again though this makes me more weak to sand offense so the next member will handle that.

Landorus-Therian @ rocky helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- knock off
- Stealth Rock

Landorus is here not only to create solid check to sand offense but also provide the team with ground and fighting immunity and resist respectively. Landorus also creates a voltturn core with magneton allowing me to get in gardevoir and tyrantrum safely. U-turn is nice for switching and earthquake is a solid stab attack. Knock off allows me to knock off opposing landorus-T with choice scarf. Stealth rocks is a must on every team so it's on landorus. With rocky helmet and a powerful 140 attack base landorus can slowly wear things down for tyrantrum to sweep.

Breloom @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Swords Dance

Again another check for sand offense. Breloom fits here well for its ability to beat bisharp. Spore let's me put something to sleep and can provide set up opportunities for breloom or tyrantrum. Mach punch let's me beat certain faster threats such as mega lopunny and let's me check ddance mega gyarados. Bullet seed let's me hit hippowdon. Swords dance allows me to break past defensive landorus. Breloom also acts as sort of a check to azumarill.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Psyshock

Starmie is here to revenge kill gengar and beat keldeo. It's also the spinner for my team thanks to its access to rapid spin. Scald is insanely spammable and let's me wear down things with burn goodra for instance. Recover let's me switch in to rock and keldeo multiple times so it can do its job. Psyshock let's me hit venusaur and gengar for super effective damage.

Well that's the team. Here are some threats that I've noticed on paper so far.

Threatlist:

-Gengar
Though I can revenge it, I can't switch into it. Really does a number on my team. I have no resists to this thing in my team.

-Weavile
Again, though I can revenge it with magneton, I can't switch into it. It can pursuit trap gardevoir, and ice shard tyrantrum, breloom and landorus. Though breloom and landorus at full health don't get OHKO'd I believe.

-Keldeo
Keldeo is a threat to this team as it can sacred sword tyrantrum, scald landorus and icy wind on breloom. Again I have starmie and mega gardevoir for this Pokémon but if those pokemon are gone it can cause some issues.

Edit #3: clefable is a threat to the team as pointed out by Ha In Kang .

Those three are the biggest problems that I notice right now but I'm sure there are more. Can I get some help with this team if possible? >~< I would like to make gengar not an issue anymore along side with weavile.

Edit #1: also I would like to keep gardevoir, magneton/magnezone and tyrantrum on the team if possible. :P

Edit #2: I see some spelling errors... sorry about that I typed this with my phone. >~<

Hi, KenPokemon.

You have a good base. In terms of presentation, it would not hurt to at least add images of each pokemon. It is prettier and easier for everyone. I'm just saying, you're so good and I'll try to help. But I said, teams recently I'm seeing here, I especially like this. The offensive core Gardevoir Mega + Magneton is effective because it eliminates the problems each other. And this income more to be faster than Magnezone but lost in special attack. Meets equally well with his role. For my part I can contribute very little but I think you will help. In Tyrantrum add the set CB maintaining nature. It counts as if you had done DD. You'd be surprised the damage it can do this thing. Pongo small changes here.

Tyrantrum @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Outrage / Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Superpower

One of your biggest threats is Clefable. Maybe not what it may seem, but there it is. I've taken some damage calculations using a Tyrantrum and Clefable threat so you can get an idea.

252 Atk Choice Band Tyrantrum Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 366-432 (92.8 - 109.6%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Tyrantrum Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 451-532 (114.4 - 135%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Tyrantrum Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 306-361 (77.8 - 91.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

This is all. Good Luck.

Hi there! Thanks for the help!

Sorry for not providing images. I've never done that before. I'll get in the habit of doing fhat. I'll edit them in once I get home.

Thanks for the suggestion and I can see clef as a threat to this team! I'll try it out and see how it goes.
