Hello frens! Abandoned Ship is back again, once again, with another HO style team! This week we focus on the UU threat that is Mamoswine and his UU friendS Mega-Sceptile+Infernape. So let's go STRAIGHT IN!

UNCULTURED SWINE! (Mamoswine) @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

Woah, you think that Mamo is gonna be a rock setter? NO WAY THIS THING IS TOO POWERFUL. Although focus sash rocks is a viable set, I wanted Mamo to shine with its offensive presence of 130 Base Attack. Not only with its insane attack, adamant also gives it that extra boost to power through teams. EQ and Icicle Crash for powerful stabs which is amazing considering nothing resists both of those moves. (If im wrong blame a i got tm87 he told me rip) Ice shard for priority and knock off to knock off items lol
Gecko-Echo (Sceptile-Mega) @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Focus Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Mega Sceptile is probably one of my favorite megas in the UU tier. With its incredible speed and special attack of base 145, it definitely can sweep teams. With several HO teams running extremely fast pace mons such as Mega Lopunny, this thing can easily outspeed it and almost OHKO it from full with Leaf Storm. Dragon pulse is a good stab to hit things like chomp or can be used as a middle ground move if you're unsure of what your opponent will do. HP Fire and Focus Blast for coverage for things such as Ferro, Skarm, Kyurem-B, etc.
Fist of Justice (Infernape) @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 168 Atk / 88 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Mach Punch
The last of the UU mons is Infernape. When I looked at the other too mons, i was thinking of ways to make it even crazier. That was when i decided to add ANOTHER starter. With decent speed and attack/special attack, it can definitely put in work. I decided to go for the mixed ape set with Grass Knot and HP Ice. As most people would switch in their Hippo or Chomp, but SIKE! That's where you hit em up with these moves to deal some serious damage and 2hko both of those threats. Flare Blitz is also another physical STAB move for a lot of damage and mach punch for fast priority hits w/ Iron Fist.

Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Since I wanted Mamo to be an offensive LO variant, I decided to make Lando-T my main defensive wall and rocker. I also needed a Smogon Bird Counter because THEY ARE EVERYWHERE ASFJOHOSAPSDJ. ahem. Sorry. Anyways I chose Lando-T over Tank Chomp mainly because of U-Turn initiative and Intimidate over damage on just contact moves. EQ for nice STAB, Stone Edge for Talonflame+other Flying mons and U-Turn for momentum.
OMG BUNNY!! (Azumarill) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
I added Azumarill due to me lacking a hard hitting water or fairy type. Huge Power makes Azu one of the most potent threats in the metagame. I decided AV over CB mainly to handle Torn-T and other special mons as well as I don't like being limitted to one move on my Azus. Waterfall+Play Rough are EXTREMELY SCARY pair of STABS. Aqua Jet priority is good to nick some KOs and Superpower to catch those Ferrothorns on the switch ;). I decided Superpower was more of a fit to Azu over Knock off mainly because Superpower hits mons that sometimes just blank Azu and Play Rough/Waterfall could sub Knock off pretty well. I run a decent amount of speed to outspeed things such as other Azus etc.
Shambles (Bisharp) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
What's an HO team without a Bisharp or Weavile? Bisharp is the epitome of an offensive threat. Knock Off, Sucker Punch, and Iron Head are all STABS that obliterate entire teams. To Top it off, using SD on set up fodder like Ferro increases the chance of a sweep. Adamant LO for more power. I chose Bisharp over Weavile due to me already having an Ice mon with good STABS.
