Hey everyone. I've been sitting on this idea for a while, and I think now is the right time to put it forward for some examination, feedback, and perhaps even eventual implementation.
I think a cool new UM could be one called 6v6. It would be a singles format that would involve you and your opponent bringing six Pokemon each and then using all of them over the course of a battle. At Team Preview, you would choose one of the Pokemon to be your lead and then go from there. The match would end either after all of one team's Pokemon have fainted or if one of the players forfeits. We'd adhere to cartridge mechanics, of course, much like 1v1 and 2v2 already do. The draw of this metagame is that six is the maximum amount of Pokemon you can bring to a match on cartridge, and I think there would be room for some really interesting strategies and builds with that many slots at your disposal.
