Lightning (Jirachi) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
Fire Punch Ice Punch Iron Head U-turn

Okay, here is my revenge killer. A lot of people use Scarfed Jirachi as a revenge killer. It's great. The moveset covers a great amount. Fire Punch to deal with Ice and other metal types, such as Mamoswine, when absolutely necessary, or Metagross. Ice Punch to cover grass types and flying types. Iron Head for a typical STAB with a 60% chance of making the opponent flinch? SEXY! U-turn as a good scout. Jirachi is usually my lead to draw out the opponent's weather starter. With U-turn I can switch and do a bit of damage to their lead and then finish them with the appropriate Pokemon on my team.

Zidane (Abomasnow) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard Wood HammerAvalanche Earthquake

Abomasnow. He's my preferred weather starter. For a long time I hated weather teams, but lately in OU weather is everywhere and it makes battling MUCH easier when you control the weather. Choice Band so he can hit like a truck. If I notice I'm playing a Rain Dance team I lead Abomasnow, use Wood Hammer, and send that little green toad home crying. Ice Shard for priority and to take out some dragons. Dual STAB with Avalanche because it's physical and doubles power if he's hit, which with Abomasnow's slow speed, happens often. Earthquake for a bit more coverage.

Vivi (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SDef
Shadow Ball Fire Blast Hidden Power [Ground] Trick

Chandulure has been a bit controversial on this team. I played around with Heatran for a bit, but I wasn't really feeling it. So I was playing around with a few other fire types and finally I tried this sexy little light. With Flash Fire he gobbles up any fire types that are aimed at my ice pokemon. With his ghost typing I can take any fighting types that go after my ice types with no damage. I love it. So much. Shadow Ball for a typical STAB to check Starmie or Alakazam. Fire Blast for another STAB. Specs Chandulure hits sooo hard. If I get that Flash Fire also you can pretty much wish your team goodbye if I don't get out sped too much. Hidden Power [Ground] to check any fire types. Lead with Chandulure against a Sunny Day team and they keep their Ninetales in, BOOM, you just won the weather war. Trick is to stop any stalls that the opponent may be using (those annoying pink blobs that are all over the place.) Not even kidding, without a Choice Trick user Blissey and Chansey can literally Toxic stall this entire team if Hydreigon is gone.

Starmie.gif

Aeris (Starmie) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spd
Rapid Spin Psychic Surf Blizzard

Starmie is on my team for primarily a spinner. Some people have suggested Forretress, because he can tank physical hits, but I think Starmie works better. Starmie can also OHKO opponents' Mamoswines with STAB Surf. Psychic for another STAB to give Starmie wider coverage. Blizzard over Ice Beam because this is a Hail team. I don't care about the accuracy of it. It hits hard. If you recognize the name reference you probably know that Starmie is usually a sacrifice. Sorry Starmie. Love you?

Lightning (Hydreigon) (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
Dark Pulse Draco Meteor Fire Blast Superpower

And here is my main sweeper. Hydreigon. I personally love Hydreigon. He looks bad-ass for one and he has pretty great stats with Life Orb. Dark Pulse for a Dark STAB. OHKOs any Psychic type that I've gone up against, but I haven't gone up against them all, maybe there is something that can wall this that is Psychic. Draco Meteor for a Dragon type STAB. I try not to keep Hydreigon in too long after I used Draco Meteor, though. Fire Blast to try to increase coverage. Superpower to take out those pink blobs. Mixed Hydreigon is pretty good over all. A lot of people don't seem to expect the mix.

Mamoswine__the_Mammoth_Boar_by_NiaWolf.png

Cloud (Mamoswine) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def / 0 SAtk
Earthquake Ice Shard Icicle Crash Superpower

And lastly the newest addition to my team, Mamoswine. I had Glaceon for a while for a Toxic/Wish staller, but I didn't like it that much. I needed an Ice type physical sweeper, but I didn't want the new, to OU, Kyurem-Black, not for any specific reason. I just didn't want to use him, I guess. I have Earthquake for a Ground STAB to counter some fire types. I have Ice Shard for priority and with Life Orb/STAB it hit's pretty decently hard. I have dual STAB because, I don't really know. I don't use Icicle Crash that often. I've been thinking of replacing it with Stealth Rocks to set up some entry hazards. I don't know yet. Then I have Superpower to expand my coverage some more.

Hey!

Solid Hail team. Hail seems to be, gaining popularity among some high level player recently. It's a difficult play-style to not only play, but also play against. I see some aspects of your team that I think could be better, but overall, your team looks pretty solid.

First off, a pretty small change. If you're going to go with Adamant Scarf Jirachi, you minds as well use 56 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 196 Speed as your EV spread. It outspeeds Jolly base 80 Pokemon (essentially Dragonite even though very few people use Jolly). Essentially, there's no Pokemon between Jolly base 80 and Max Speed Adamant base 100 that you need to outspeed or would outspeed. Therefore, the extra HP can come in handy, and you don't lose any revenging ability anyway. Win/Win.

Second, I really think you should change Abomasnow. Is there anything CB hits that Expert Belt wouldn't? I can't think of any Pokemon that loses to CB and not Expert Belt, so why not try that? The EVs are 252 Atk / 144 Sp Atk / 112 Spe with a Lonely Nature. Wood Hammer / Blizzard / Ice Shard / Hidden Power Fire for moves. Wood Hammer OHKOes Specially Defensive Tyranitar which is pretty big in a lot of matches. Hidden Power Fire does a great job of dispatching Ferrothorn if they try to set up on you. Starmie doesn't last long, so you'll need to make sure the omnipresent Ferrothorn isn't given free set up opportunities for no reason.

For Chandelure, I'd highly recommend moving the HP to Speed. I don't see what kind of hits you'd be taking, and a slow Chandelure is just going to be KO bait. With Max Speed you can outspeed and KO Politoed, Heatran, Tyranitar, and, well, pretty much anything between no Speed and Max Speed. Chandelure is SR weak which means it's not going to be an efficient wall, so you minds as well get all the power and damage you can.

On Starmie, I'd definitely recommend Thunderbolt or Recover instead of Psychic. Psychic or Psyshock are decent coverage moves on Rapid Spin Defensive Starmie, but they aren't that good for an offensive one. Thunderbolt will help you vs. all the Rain teams we see nowadays, and it takes a little pressure off Abomasnow. Recover will give you some longevity in order to Rapid Spin and support the team more. Honestly, your team is relatively offensive, so I'd go Tbolt. Try both, see what works.

Give Hydreigon Roost over Fire Blast. Superpower hits most things Fire Blast does anyway, and I think Superpower is more important for stuff like Heatran or Tyranitar. Roost is essential because you need something to repeatedly switch into Water moves. Abomasnow will be worn down quickly, especially if Stealth Rock is on the field. Starmie doesn't currently have Recover, so it can't either. There's basically nothing on your team that could directly switch into a Scarf Keldeo using Surf in the Rain, which is pretty bad. Roost will do at least a little to alleviate that weakness.

Finally, use Stealth Rock over Superpower on Mamoswine. You don't have Stealth Rock on your team, and it's way too good to pass up. Abomasnow will create switches vs. most teams, and you need to take advantage of that. I personally don't see the rationale behind Superpower Mamoswine besides hitting Ferrothorn. Or maybe Rotom-w a little. Neither are that big an issue for your team right now. Stealth Rock will be way better.

Good luck!

Hello, and welcome to the world of poke... err.. smogon!

This is a solid team, but it has glaring weaknesses to scarf keldeo and scarf terrakion. You also have no hazards. Let's solve the hazard problem first, as this is easier. The way to change this without losing your team's effectiveness is to change jirachi's set to the specially defensive set with stealth rock.

385.gif

Jirachi @Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Atk | Careful | Serene Grace
~Iron Head
~Wish
~Protect / Thunder Wave / Body Slam
~Stealth Rock

Ok, basic specially defensive jirachi set, but with stealth rock. Iron head is there for STAB and flinch lulz. We all know what wish does, and it keeps your team alive. Protect can be used to scout opposing movesets and get wish hp. Thunder Wave can be used for instant paralysis, but body slam does damage and hits all types in exchange for only a 60% chance. Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock never changes. (Yes, that was a fallout reference.)

Alright, so you have a hazard setter now. The bad part is now, you are in need of a revenge killer, and you need a check to terrakion and keldeo. The thing that popped straight out at me was scarf latios. He outspeeds the entire metagame with a scarf attached, and it still hits like a truck. I would suggest replacing mamoswine with him, as mamoswine really doesn't do much for a hail team and just compounds the weaknesses. Abomasnow already has ice shard for revenge killing, and earthquake is tough to fire off in a metagame where the main pokemon who is weak to it holds an air balloon a lot anyway.

381.gif

Latios @Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP | Timid | levitate
~Draco Meteor
~Psyshock
~Thunderbolt / Hidden Power Fire
~Surf / Hidden Power Fire

Alright, so this is the choice scarf latios set. Draco Meteor hits like a truck, and you will probably be switching latios out after the revenge kill anyway, so why not? Psyshock is used over psychic hero so latios can break through blissey and calm mind keldeo. Thunderbolt hits water and flying types hard. Surf hits heatran and ground types quite hard. Hidden Power fire can be used over either surf or thunderbolt, as the speed iv drop isn't much of a concern.

I also agree with undisputed that you should change either dark pulse or fire blast for roost on hydreigon.

I also agree with his abomasnow changes.

Now that you already have psyshock on latios, I agree with undisputed that you should put thunderbolt in place of psychic.

Hope this helps, and good luck with the team.

Alright. Thank you to everyone. I will check out all of your recommendations and see which ones fit the best. I'll edit afterwords also. And I was think either expert belt or Focus Sash on Abomasnow, Undisputed.
