The smogon analysis needs updating in places.
A few off the top of my head:
- Hippowdon has 88sp.def ev's while they may be useful, the reasoning is to make Boah's ice beam a 3hko, Boah rarely exsits in this metagame and his common special move is flamethrower. Boah has not been used with ice beam commonly since platinum, because aqua tail came out
- Skarmory has 16 speed suggested to outspeed rhyperior, rhyperior's usage is so low it got moved to UU.
- Mix mamoswine suggest 64 sp.atk ev's to OHKO skarmory, but I find the common skarmorys are sp.defensive and so an alternative ev spread could be suggested.
- Cradily suggest a defensive dancer, using both sword dance and stockpile. But considering in sandstorm no one can really touch cradilly on the sp.side, just using the HGSS move curse would free up too move slots.
There are probably many more that just need looking at and going over to make sure there up to date. The Hippowdon 88sp.def reasoning is incredibly old.
