With Metagrossite, Urshifu-R truly becomes a rapid-fighting master, as the newfound Speed allows it to blitz through Pokemon like Eternatus and Roaring Moon while giving it a power boost with Tough Claws. Swords Dance allows Urshifu-R to take advantage of the switches it produces and creates heavy chunks in the opposing team, as even would-be checks like Arceus-Water and Pecharunt get 2HKOed by its attacks. Ice Spinner is mainly for Dragon-types like Eternatus and Dragonite, forcing them to think twice before coming into a potential 2HKO. Urshifu-R is heavily appreciated on both offense and balance teams as an amazing wallbreaker as well as a potential sweeper. Urshifu-R's main weakness is its susceptibility to Pixilate Extreme Speed users like Dragonite and Regieleki, so checks to those Pokemon, like Hearthflame Mask Great Tusk and Iron Moth, are very much appreciated. Urshifu-R also appreciates entry hazard setters like Swampert and Magearna, as chip from hazards makes Urshifu-R's attacks even harder to take consistently. In return, they can pivot Urshifu-R in.
