name: Focus Sash
move 1: Wicked Blow
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Counter
move 4: Sucker Punch
item: Focus Sash
ability: Unseen Fist
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]

* With its high Attack stat, great STAB combination, and absolute nuke that is Wicked Blow, Urshifu-S has made a name for itself as one of the most threatening wallbreakers in the BSS metagame.

* With Focus Sash and Counter, Urshifu-S is also revenge killer against physical threats.

* This variant of Urshifu-S makes for a solid lead, trading very efficiently with strong physical attackers such as Zacian-C and Landorus-T. Outside of the lead slot, Urshifu-S must be wary of Stealth Rock and other entry hazards nullifying its Focus Sash, and thus making Counter less consistent.

* Sucker Punch provides powerful priority, allowing Urshifu-S to finish off Pokemon that survived Counter or Wicked Blow the turn prior.

* Taunt is potentially useful to help Urshifu-S break through the likes of Quagsire and Toxapex by preventing them from recovering. However giving up Counter or Sucker Punch severely limits Urshifu-S’s potential against offensive Pokémon.

* While this variant of Urshifu-S usually won’t be using it, Gigantamax is preferred over Dynamax because G-Max One Blow's secondary effect helps Urshifu-S much more Max Darkness’s.

Items
========

* Focus Sash, aside from making Counter more consistent, and generally allowing an extra attack before fainting, can preserve Urshifu-S for a very helpful late-game Sucker Punch.

[SET]
name: BEAR KNUCKLE (Choice Item Attacker)
move 1: Wicked Blow
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Sucker Punch / U-turn
move 4: U-turn / Sucker Punch / Aerial Ace / Stone Edge
item: Choice Band / Choice Scarf
ability: Unseen Fist
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
* Wicked Blow is Urshifu-S's main attack, with the guaranteed critical hit providing extreme damage and bypassing Defense boosts or Attack drops

* Sucker Punch is powerful priority to pick off weakened, faster targets such as Regieleki, boosted Necrozma-DM, and especially Calyrex-S.

* U-turn is useful for Urshifu-S to effectively scout its switch-ins and maintain momentum for its team.

* Aerial Ace provides access to Max Airstream to boost Urshifu-S’s Speed, potentially allowing it to sweep faster, frailer teams. Max Airstream also can deny Eternatus the chance to recover against Urshifu-S and stall its Wicked Blow PP.

* Stone Edge is useful coverage against Ho-Oh, Yveltal and other Flying-types that could potentially survive Wicked Blow and KO Urshifu-S in return.

* Thunder Punch hits Tapu Fini super effectively in addition to most Flying-types, but it sacrifices some damage against Ho-Oh and Zapdos.

* Ice Punch can be used to heavily damage targets like Landorus-T and Zygarde while still hitting Yveltal and Zapdos super effectively.

* Sleep Talk is a niche but effective pick that allows Urshifu-S to absorb sleep from the likes of Hippowdon and Quagsire while maintaining effectiveness; however, Sucker Punch will fail if called by Sleep Talk when Urshifu-S moves last, so it is not advised to use these moves on the same set.

* If running Choice Band, an Adamant nature is worth considering. While Urshifu-S will no longer outspeed key threats such as Kyogre, Landorus-T, and Mimikyu, the extra power can be very helpful against bulkier teams.

* Gigantamax is preferred over Dynamax thanks to G-Max One Blow’s ability to ignore Max Guard.

Items
========

* Choice Band provides Urshifu-S with absurd power, allowing Wicked Blow to easily 2HKO the likes of Toxapex and Quagsire, and even some resistance Pokémon like Yveltal. Additionally, very few Pokemon can stall out this set, making it particularly effective against stall teams.

* Choice Scarf lets Urshifu-S the ability to outspeed usually-faster targets, letting it revenge kill and grabbing a surprise KO, securing your team an early lead.

Not much to say about this one, Urshifu does one thing, but he does it very well.

I will say that I tried my absolute hardest to format this one correctly (I’m so sorry TMon lmao).

Checking time baby!

So one general note: I'd probably put Sash above choice just because it has more usage than those two combined by JUST a bit.

Also, I'd mention that Wicked Blow isn't bother by Reflect, since you mention stats anyways it could be rolled in with those mentions.

Choice Attacker

- Since you mention Thunder Punch, I think Ice Punch is worth a mention too. It's not a bad move to get locked into when dealing with multiple Flying-types (like say, Landorus-T + Yveltal), and it does a ton of damage to Zygarde.

- I think you should bring up Gigantamax vs regular on Urshifu. Generally, Gigantamax is preferred because G-Max One Blow ignoring Max Guard is more useful than Max Darkness lowering Special Defense for your teammates.

- This is gonna sound silly, but I'd mention Sleep Talk too, because it lets Urshifu potentially get away with staying in on a Yawn. Just note that uh... Sucker Punch can actually fail if Sleep Talk selects it (in case it moves second), so don't use Sucker Punch with Sleep Talk!

- I'd talk about Jolly vs Adamant. Basically, Jolly outspeeds Mimikyu, Kyogre, and Landorus-T which is pretty important, but Adamant's extra power is helpful against bulkier teams if using Choice Band.

- I'd mention that CB Urshifu does particularly well against stall teams, since only a select few Pokemon like Eternatus can really stall it out.

-Focus Sash

- Sorry this wasn't on the dex, but I'd actually get rid of Adamant on Sash Urshifu, I think that thing REALLY needs to outspeed Mimikyu!

- Again, I'd mention the whole Gigantamax vs Dynamax thing on this set, with the mention that this set USUALLY isn't going to be Gigantamaxing.

- I'd give Taunt a mention (though not a slash in). Mention that giving up Counter or Sucker Punch is a REALLY tough decison, but the benefit is that it can be a really nasty surprise for more supportive Pokemon that might attempt to mess with you, like Quagsire.

Good stuff otherwise, consider this a QC 1/2 once you implement this stuff!

thanks a lot! Will implement those changes as soon as possible :)

It's showtime!

As Theorymon said, put Sash above Choice variant, Sash is more consistent in this format and you can use it in most teams.

Focus Sash:

- Remove Adamant variant, you don't need it at all on this set, Jolly is better for outspeeding Kyogre, Landorus-T and Mimikyu.

- Also mention that this set is usually a lead and if it's not, be careful with stealth rocks as if you need Urshifu-S in the back it's to revenge kill Zacian-C, boosted Landorus-T for example.

- In some cases and depending on the team you could mention the Taunt / U-Turn variant in the Counter slot, Taunt would help you against Quagsire's Recover, Hippowdon or Swampert's Stealth Rock / Yawn and in the case of U-Turn it is for gain momentum, break mimikyu disguise and break Focus Sash of other Urshifu-S for example.

just add this and the mentioned by Theorymon and this set would be ready.

Choice Attacker:

- Adamant or Jolly, in this set it's a pretty big doubt since Adamant helps you deal much easier vs Stall with Wicked Blow spam, if Adamant is used I would mention that it depends on the team since if you have Checks / Counters in the back against Pokémon that outspeed Adamant Urshifu-S like Mimikyu, Kyogre and Landorus-T would be fine, in Jolly's case there's not much to add since Theorymon did it.

You did a good job with this analysis, just add Theorymon's comments and mine, then QC 2/2.
