UU Baton Pass 5th Gen

This is my UU Baton Pass 5th Gen team, please comment with ratings, suggestions, etc.

Mr. Mime (M) @ Light Clay
Trait: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def/ 4 SpAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Barrier
- Light Screen
- Baton Pass
- Psychic


As a Baton Pass team lead, Mr. Mime is fantastic, the first thing you want is boosting your defenses and Mr. Mime can do that very effectively. Barrier bolsters Swoobat's defense, and so does Light Screen effectively. Psychic is for STAB to hit most leads for moderate damage and to put a nice dent in most Pokemon.

Lopunny's Defense after a +2 boost = 408

Volbeat (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Mischievous Heart
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Tail Glow
- Baton Pass
- Toxic
- Thunder Wave

Volbeat is a GREAT Baton Passer, and he got fantastical boosts in 5th Gen. Mischievous Heart and the Tail Glow boost, which now boosts +3, not +2 to your Special Attack giving Swoobat a 1112 Special Attack (because of Simple). Thats crazy. Toxic and Thunder Wave is to spread status, which is great support options for Swoobat. Focus Sash means that Volbeat will always Baton Pass Tail Glow.

Scolipede (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Poison Point
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Baton Pass
- Megahorn
- Poison Jab

Scolipede gives great support with Toxic Spikes, which really, really supports Swoobat. Megahorn and Poison Jab is great dual STAB options, hitting everything pretty damn hard. Focus Sash means that Scolipede will always put down atleast one layer of Toxic Spikes.

Smeargle (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Rapid Spin
-Ingrain
-Baton Pass
-Agility

Smeargle is a great Baton Passer, being able to pass Ingrain, Rapid Spin, and Agility now when I tried to figure out what Pokemon could learn Baton Pass and Rapid Spin, I sadly found out that only Spinda can do that... so I chose Smeargle. Rapid Spin is to spin away Stealth Rocks that take away all of my Pokemon's Focus Sashes. Ingrain is to give Swoobat some health boosts every turn so some of the Life Orb damage will be regenerated quickly. Agility is to give Swoobat +4 Speed, making his already good speed skyrocket.

Smeargle's Speed after a +2 boost = 598
Lopunny's Speed after a +2 boost = 678
Swoobat's Speed after a +4 boost = 1308

Lopunny (F) @ Bull's Eye
Trait: Limber
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Encore
- Baton Pass
- Switcheroo


Lopunny provides Substitute, Encore, and Switcheroo. Substitute provides an extra hit block, Encore screws over set-up Pokemon. Bull's Eye might be a weird item, but it is great with Trick and Switcheroo (Bull's Eye is an item that takes away all type immunities, so say a Ghost type is holding it, Normal and Fighting type moves can hit.) so Swoobat can hit with Dark- Types with Psychic, and Normal Types with Shadow Ball.

Swoobat (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Simple
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Air Slash

Here it is, the sweeper of the team. Swoobat is officially outclassing Bibarel as a Baton Pass reciever with a base 114 Speed, great conjunction with Volbeat and with his fantastic movepool, he can hit alot of Pokemon with Super-Effective damage. Psychic and Air Slash are crazy good STAB moves and Energy Ball is to hit Water and Ground types for Super Effective damage. Shadow Ball is to hit Psychic and Shadow types for Super Effective damage. I ran some damage calculations if you want to see them:

+6 Life Orb Psychic vs 252 HP / 56 SpDef Calm Milotic: 108.1% - 127.4%

You do know that Swoobat can learn Assist Power, right?

It's a 20 Base Power psychic move that does 20 more for each stat increase. Yea, he even get's STAB. With simple this can hit incredible heights, especially with you baton passing nearly every stat there is.
