UU! *GASP* NO HITMONTOP?

141.png

Kabutops@ focus sash
evs: 252atk/128spe/96def/32hp
adamant(swift swim)
-rock slide
-x-scissor
-rain dance
-waterfall

The beast of my team. :D Sets up rain dance with the sash's help. Gets it going, and outpeeds just about everything but priority. Kills stuff well, not much to say.

34.png

Nidoking@ Life Orb
evs: 200 Atk/252 Sp.atk/56Spe
Rash
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam

Nido! Now that's cool.(sorry for the bad pun xD) It apparently works well as a wall-breaker. I'm excited to try this out. Looks like fun. Another suggestion made by LonelyNess.

115.png

Kangaskhan@ choice band
evs: 42hp/252atk/216
adamant(scrappy)
-return
-hammer arm
-sucker punch
-earthquake

This thing is a threat to all. It's somewhat bulky, and there is no surefire way to kill it. It provides great coverage, and puts a decent dent into just about anything in UU. I might actually change return to double-edge, but I'd like some opinions first about it.

57.png

Primeape@ salac berry
evs: 252atk/252/6def
adamant(anger point)
-substitute
-reversal
-beat up
-bulk up

The team needed a fast pokemon. It can function without rain dance. Behind the sub, it bulk up's, and awaits crits. When it gets the salac boost, you start to sweep. If you get anger point to activate, the oponent is screwed. This thing gets mean, real quickly.

3.png

Venusaur@ Choice Scarf
evs: 100 HP/156Spe/252Sp.atk
Modest
-Leaf Storm
-Sludge Bomb
-HP Fire
-Energy Ball

The revenge killer of my team. An amazing suggestion by LonelyNess.(good idea :D)

277.png

Swellow@ toxic orb
evs: 252atk/252spe/6sp.def
jolly
-facade
-brave bird
-U-turn
-quick attack

I love these things. Seriously, they're even better than quick feet ursirang. Facade power kills SO MANY THINGS WITH ONE HIT ALONE! It has quick attack, because my team needed another priority move. Feel free to make recommendations on this part.

Thanks for reading.(if you did read it, say "tennis is awesome" in your post) Feel free to make suggestions, I may or may not take them into consideration.

Tennis is awesome, lol.

Well anyway, wouldn't electrode be better as a lead? It can set up sd, is fast, taunt, and explode. Personally I would use that. Make sure you nickname all your pokemon, or beat up could really screw you.

IMO you should drop confuse ray on lanturn and give it rd. Rain dance is only lasting 5 turns, so thunder could screw over your lanturn by missing.

I'm going to outright say it... this team... it's not that good. That isn't to say that it doesn't have the POTENTIAL to be good and really with just a few minor changes. I'm going to assume you want to keep this offensive, so I will refrain from suggesting walls.

First off, there are a large number of offensive threats that you can't deal with. That isn't to say that you need walls, you just need to be able to effectively revenge kill or at the very least have a few resistances in order to switch around more effectively.

To put it bluntly, Scarf Himonlee destroys this team. It can come in on a kill, or it can come in on Manectric or Lanturn and wreak havoc with your team. Close Combat will kill every single one of your team members, plain and simple. It doesn't even NEED to predict as they are all OHKO'd by this incredibly common Pokemon. Your only hope is to have saved your Kabutop's Focus Sash (unlikely since it's your lead). Or hope that you did enough damage so that Swellow's Quick Attack takes it out (your Swellow does 50.83% - 59.92% to minimum defense Hitmonlee).

Secondly, Leafeon will hurt this team quite a bit with a set of Swords Dance/Quick Attack/Leaf Blade/X-Scizzor (not an uncommon set). It will come in with ease on your Lanturn, set up a Swords Dance on the switch and from there winning is all but a certainty as that set OHKO's all of your pokemon with either Quick Attack or Leaf Blade. There is a small chance of surviving a single Quick Attack with Manectric, but it's only about a 50/50 chance.

There is one pokemon who can completely fix this problem, and it's a new addition to UU too. It's our favorite Grass pokemon, your friend and mine.

Venusaur @ Choice Scarf
EV's: 100 HP / 156 Spe / 252 SpA
Nature: Modest

Leaf Storm
Sludge Bomb
HP Fire
Energy Ball

These EV's allow for 413 Speed, outpacing Adamant Scarf 'Lee who sits at 410. The HP EV's are for general bulkiness which it will need if it wants to continuously come in on those pesky Close Combats. You can then outspeed and OHKO with Leaf Storm easily. Secondly, this set outspeeds Leafeon and you OHKO with Sludge Bomb. Even at its best, Quick Attack only does 31% to Venusaur, so Leafeon is never a problem.

This also helps your rather large Steelix problem as Leaf Storm will demolish Steelix's weak Special Defense.

I suggest putting this in over Lanturn as right now it seems to be dead weight on the team.

-----

Your team has trouble defeating some of the more common walls. Weezing/Steelix being two who give you trouble. With Lanturn gone, you're also going to be a bit weak to Electric attacks, my suggestion is to replace your Manectric with a Nidoking. The following set is probably the most appropriate.

Nidoking @ Life Orb
EVs: 200 Atk / 252 SpA / 56 Spe
Rash Nature

Earthquake
Fire Blast
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam

This is a pretty straight forward mixed set. It hits the majority of UU hard and for SE damage most of the time. It takes out Weezing and Steelix with Fire Blast, 2HKO's Clefable (unless it's Bold 252/252) and is generally a great wall breaker, which your team needs given the number of sweepers you have. Overall, it's less walled and more versitile than your Manectric and will probably serve you better in the long run.

Also, I don't really like Bulk Up Primeape. I think the CB set, or the Life Orb set would be better suited for this team. However that's more to personal preference than something that hurts/benefits the team.

With those changes, nothing really "runs through" your team. Make these changes and I'm sure you'll be more successful

Tennis is *not* awesome. Loop holes rule.
You have no physical wall. ScarfLee KOs everything on your team like the abbove poster said. May I suggest a Claydol. It fixes the Lee problem, and it hammers Lee with Psychic/Shadow Ball. Or maybe a Scarf Rotom to function as a revenge killer.

Your Swellow would be hella great as a Pursuiter but it's still cool as it is.
However W/ RD, your Kabu can catch up to ScarfLee.

Just watch out.

Took lanturn out.

Dude, you my friend are an amazing team rater. :D I'll edit those changes in.(didn't know vena was UU, I'll definitely use him. The nido is sweet too, I'll have to get me one of those :O)

The point of this team is to be all-out offense. Those are my favorite kinds of teams. Trust me dude, I'm not the best at using walls. :/

Your Swellow would be hella great as a Pursuiter but it's still cool as it is.
However W/ RD, your Kabu can catch up to ScarfLee.

Just watch out.

I'll change that.

Thanks guys for taking the time to rate my team. :D
