I haven't been on Shoddy long... Maybe 2 months? Well, for almost every single team I make, it's a balanced defensive core with two sweepers. Instead of going for the balanced approach, I decided to go for the Hyper Offense approach. Instead of constantly predicting, I sacrifice sweepers and go to my next set up poke. So I now present you, my hyper offense team.
The Lead
Omastar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 240 HP/16 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Rock]
For my lead, I decided to use Omastar. In a hyper offensive team, the opponent is constantly switching out Pokemon. With Stealth Rock, and Spike support, the residual damage adds up, providing an easier path for my Pokemon to sweep. The speed EV's are for a reason, but I forget =/ I go with HP Rock over Ancient Power for the added power. The Stat Boost is irrelevant because there's only a 10 % chance of it happening. I treat this lead similar to a suicide lead. If I can get rocks, and one layer of spikes up, it makes my life a lot easier.
UU Gyarados :(
Feraligatr (M) @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Waterfall
- Flail
Feraligatr starts off my Fire, Grass, Water offensive core. With all the SD Aqua Jet Feraligatrs out their, this set serves as a huge surprise. I come in on something I scare away, Sub, and DD. If I do it perfectly, I should end up with low health, +2 Attack, + 1 speed, Torrent boosted waterfall, and flail. This set can sweep unprepared teams with the great coverage that Water+Normal provides.
UU Infernape :(
Blaziken (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Superpower
- Flare Blitz
- Thunderpunch
Blaziken is the second part of my "Fearsome Threesome." He destroys Registeel by firing off + 2 Flare Blitzes. Thunderpunch is for any bulky waters (Slowbro, Milotic) who try to spoil my fun. Superpower gives me unresisted coverage in UU except for Lanturn (I think). Jolly is to ease my predictions, and max attack and speed is to pack as much punch as possible. After a Swords Dance, adamant isn't really needed.
UU umm.... Really fast grass dude :D
Sceptile (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
Sceptile rounds off my Elemental combo and adds another physical sweeper to the mix. Ironically, he's my third starting pokemon on the team. Much like my last two Pokes, come in on something I scare away. SD and proceed to smash people with Leaf Blade. Earthquake makes sure I don't got walled by steels (Registeel) and Rock Slide is for Flyer's that Leaf Blade and EQ can't touch. Jolly makes sure I rarely get outspeed by non-scarfers.
The Spin Blocker
Mismagius (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 48 HP/252 Spd/208 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Taunt
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
Now what's the point off all those hazards without a spin blocker? Looking through the UU tier, I was looking for an offensive spin blocker. I looked at two ghosts, Rotom and Mismagius. With Mismagius new addition of Nasty Plot, I knew I needed to try her out. While being my only special attacker (bar Omastar) she also works as a stall breaker. With Registeel running rampant, I needed something to take care of it. Registeel is usually the initial switch to Mismagius. Once it comes in, I taunt it, then use Nasty Plot. I prefer Thunderbolt over HP Fighting. Although Hp Fighting gives unresisted coverage, 70 Base Power isn't that great. Thunderbolt also helps out against bulky waters that try to ruin my fun. Timid is for eased prediction. If you think you can convince me to run modest/hp fighting, then try. If I'm well convinced, I will definitely make the switch.
Mindgames
Honchkrow (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Sucker Punch
- Brave Bird
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Honchcrow is such a cool poke, and gives me a useful priority. It's my main answer to SD Venasaur, as it absorbs the sleep then hits it hard with brave bird. Superpower is for Rocks, Steels, and other darks, while Sucker Punch is for Stab+Priority. Brave Bird sits at a whopping 180 Base Power and puts a dent in anything that resists it. Pursuit is for trapping weakened pokes that try to run. The EV's are pretty strait forward. Adamant is over Jolly because I already have a priority move. Nothing much more to say about this beast. :D

So there's my team. It may not be the best, but like I said, I'm fairly new to competitive battling. Feel free to criticize as much as possible. I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you and have fun rating :)
(Oh and sorry for the lack of pictures. My computers being really weird rite now. :S
