So I decided to dedicate my self to the UU tier since I find it the most fun. I've been playing with this team nonstop and it is my best creation, allowing me to reach my highest rank in any tier ever at 1715 (I'm still fairly new). So I want to get some possible suggestions as to make this team better.
Quick line up:
Scrafty
Kingdra
Flygon
Xatu
Rhyperior
Porygon2
In depth analysis:
Scrafty @ Leftovers
EV'S: 252 Atk; 252 Spe; 4 SpD
Adamant
Shed Skin
-Dragon Dance
-Crunch
-High Jump Kick
-Ice Punch
I created this team with DD Scrafty in mind, and boy has it paid off. The defensive combination of shed skin and leftovers perfectly compliment the high octane offense of this set. I makes both the residual damge and attack reduction from burns a lot less frightening. Crunch is the Dark type STAB move of choice, while High Jump Kick is insanely powerful after a DD boost or two. Ice punch is my coverage move allowing me to hit threats such as crobat and flygon hard.
Kingdra @ Choice Specs
EV's: 252 SpA; 252 Spe; 4SpD
Modest
Sniper
-Hydro Pump
-Draco Meteor
-Ice Beam
-Dragon Pulse
I used to have a Nidoking in this spot, but my team wasn't able to take Water type attacks to well and Nidoking wasn't pulling his wait, so I replaced him, and it worked out wonderfully. It gives me almost total immunity to water type attacks and Draco Meteor deals incredible damage. I don't really know what to run as it's ability, as I don't water to run Swift Swim because rain is so rare in UU, so I just went with Sniper. Hydro pump and Dragon Pulse round out the STAB moves giving me a Water type option and a more reliable Dragon type move incase I need to take out 2 more Pokemon when I have nothing left. Ice Beam's just sort of there.
Flygon @ Choice Band
EV's: 252 Atk; 252 Spe; 4 Spd
Levitate
Jolly
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-turn
-Fire Punch
Despite me saying I made this team for DD Scrafty, Flygon has been the work horse of this team. The sheer amount of damage it is able to cause between STAB Earthquake and Outrage with the Choice band means it will OHKO just about anything in the tier without a good amount investment in defense. U-turn allows me to scout while still keeping offensive momentum, while Fire Punch rounds out it's coverage.
Xatu @ leftovers
EV's: 252 HP; 252 SpD; 4 Def
Magic Bounce
-Roost
-Night Shade
-Thunder Wave
-Wish
I contemplated running Blastoise, but Roserade is such a common threat, it can KO Blastoise then setup its Spikes or Toxic Spikes, so I just decided to run Xatu which bounces back spikes and resists its Grass type Stab. This thing is also a great counter to the Fighting types running rampant in UU. Roost allows for instant recovery from Stealth Rocks and I can also pass wishes. T-Wave is mainly to slow down pokemon that might out-speed Flygon, Kingdra, and poses a potential threat to Scrafty even after a DD. Night Shade is just there for reliable damage and so it isn't Taunt bait.
Rhyperior @ Leftovers
EV's: 252 HP; 252 Atk; 4 SpD
Adamant
Solid Rock
-Stealth Rocks
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Megahorn
Rhyperior is used as my rock setter incase I make a wrong prediction with Xatu and my tank. He works just as well on offense as the rest of my Pokemon even without a choice item or a set up move. Anything without a Grass or Water Type moves will fall prey to its great coverage with the EdgeQuake combo, which it's get's STAB on both. Megahorn is there for coverage on a possible in comming Grass types and Psychic types.
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
EV's: 252 HP; 252 SpD; 4 SpA
Calm
Trace
-Recover
-Thunder Wave
-Tri-Attack
-Toxic
And here is the secret weapon of my team. It is able to take any non-stab Fighting type move and with absolutely no risk. It is the ultimate special wall, and with recover, you have to OHKO this thing to get it out of the way. The most I've seen a SpA do from any Pokemon is another choice specs Kingdra's Draco Meteor do 36%. This thing is a nearly unbreakable wall. Thunder wave is so I can still reliably spread paralysis even after Xatu is out, while toxic allows me to stall out walls. Tri-Attack is once again so I don't fall prey to taunt, and it actually does pretty good damage, I've even swept 5 pokemon with Porygon2 after Tracing a Yanmega's speed boost, after I somehow let the rest of my pokemon get KO'd. It allows me to check choiced Pokemon and safely swtch into anything I want. It's the duct tape that holds my team together.
So there's my team. Let me here a little bit of constructive criticism.
