Manaphy lights up UU! With its Tail Glow Set, Manaphy is a terrifying sweeper, being able to set up on Skeledirge, Scizor, and Skarmory lacking Whirlwind. Surf is the primary STAB move, being able to 2HKO Fezandpiti and OHKO Cobalion after one boost. Ice Beam hits foes that can tank a +3 Surf such as Hydrapple, Tornadus-T, and Clodsire. Manaphy illumina UU! Con il suo set Codadiluce, Manaphy é uno sweeper minaccioso che riesce a effettuare un setup su Skeledirge, Scizor e Skarmory senza Turbine. Surf é la mossa STAB primaria che riesce a mandare KO con due colpi Fezandpiti e in un colpo Cobalion dopo un potenziamento. Ice Beam colpisce avversari che riescono a reggere Surf a +3 come Hydrapple, Tornadus-T e Clodsire. Energipalla é usata per affrontare tipi Acqua come Rotom-W e Slowking. Manaphy fa fatica a superare Toxapex, siccome esso può usare Tossina per mettere Manaphy sotto un clock e può anche rimuovere i suoi boost con Nube, quindi compagni che possono aiutare contro di esso come Latios e Thundurus-T sono apprezzati. Minacce più veloci come Latios, Zarude e Ogerpon può causare grossi problemi a Manaphy, poiché possono infliggere danni ingenti a Manaphy, quindi risposte come Lokix Heatran e Metagross sono molto apprezzati. Deoxys-S può piazzare le trappole, che possono mettere Tornadus-T nel range di KO e sweeper come Revavroom che apprezzano la capacità di Manaphy di attiare in Zarude e Meowscarada per poi potenzialmente effettuare uno sweep.
