[UU] My Team

Hey guys, i'm new here, and Platinum is the first game i decided to EV in, because i just recently learned about how to effectively train my pokemon.

Now, I really like the UU tier. Alright lets get started. :)

Porygon2 is one of two of my support pokemon. He is obviously ment to slow wither down the team. Icebeam is used to take care of any OU Dragon type such as Dragonite.

Now since i'm pretty new to this EV and competitive stuff, you guys my be confused on who does what, and i apologize for that. I hope it's clear enough.

My Offensive Pokemon. Inflicts Pokemon with sleep, Substitute, May hit them with Focus Punch, or Waterfall. Waterfall has a STAB. I'd say Quagsire is my lead.

Thats my team. Now i have been thinking about alternatives. I could switch Quagsire with Wailord or Slowbro. Tropius might go for Altaria or Swellow. I might Ditch Absol for Umbreon or Espeon. Some other changes might come in aswell.

All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
