UU Raindance? Maaaaybe?

Croagunk @ Life Orb
Jolly\Dry Skin
EVs 252 att 6 def 252 speed
-Sucker Punch
-Cross Chop
-x-Scizzor
-EQ

He's not the lead but.. Swellow is the lead.. This guy has a boosted attack of 444 which is pretty beastly. too bad I Can't do CB on this, I could but I get 2.5% hp per turn with lifeorb plus 3 other moves.

Swellow @ Salac Berry
Jolly/Guts
EVs 252 speed 100 hp 160 att
-Rain Dance
-Baton Pass
-Substitute
-pursuit

This is my lead. It's pretty weird lookin, but eventually it'll work nicely. with great prediction and great speed, then i'll get this bud goin. with that salac activated i just pass it over to croagunk with that sub for pursuit protection.. speaking of pursuit I have it so it hits pretty much anything nicely.

Kabutops @ Life Orb
Adamant/swift swim
EVs 200 hp 252 att 56 speed
-Waterfall
-rock slide
-ariel ace
-brick break

I'm just trying this guy out with double speed from water.. dunno how it'll work.

Sudowoodo @ Lefties
impish/rock head
EVs 252 hp 172 def 84 speed
-SR
-EQ
-Toxic
-Explosion

this guy is basically a slow staller kind of. he's just a wall to other things.. plus sets up stealth rock

Probopass @ Lefties
magnet pull/modest
EVs 168 hp 252 sp. att / 88 speed
-Magnet Rise
-Earth Power
-Taunt
-Flash Cannon

A Steelix caller. Magnet Rise to Dodge that durn der EQ and hit it hard with some Earth Power. Flash Cannon for no reason really.

octillery @ scope lens
Sniper\Modest
EVs 252 hp/252 sp att/4 speed
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Energy Ball
-Focus Energy

Last but not least, This Octillery. After Focus Energy and Scope Lens, 1/3 attacks WILL BE CRITS. Plus from Sniper making it 3x instead of 2x, it makes him hit harder then most special sweepers in UU.It's only side effect is it's slow..

So that's my thoughts on that, I haven't set it in stone. Critisizm is most welcome.

How does this team deal with Lanturn if Probopass is dead?

Also, as a Rain special sweeper, Omastar outclasses Octillery big time and gets Swift Swim. Explore it over Octillery.

And why did you not put your lead first? o_o; Honestly?

If you're planning to make this into a Rain Dance team, try to have at least 2 pokemon that can do Rain Dance; Swellow WOULD be a surprising Rain Dance user, but at least 2/5 turns of Rain Dance would go by before you have either Toxicroak or Kabutops out (one when Rain Dance is activated, the other for Baton Pass, more if you pass the Salac boost).

Also have to agree with what Age of Kings said, with Rain Dance, Omastar would be a better special sweeper than Octillery, although I like the idea of winning by critical hits :) I'll leave the choice to you.

You need another rain dancer or if you refuse to which would be stupid put damp rock on Swellow. You are certainly not gonna get alot done with 5 turns of rain dance. Matter of fact wasting Swellow's offensive capabilities for rain dance is like a retarted crime. Octillery gets nothing done with this set. It is two slow to set up to use focus energy and not bulky enough to survive anything. Omastar outclasses it.

I echo what has been said about Omastar > Octillery. Omastar is (like Kabutops) just plain nasty when it's raining, with an excellent special attack and speed brought up from horrible to pretty good by swift swim.

Further, I can't see how it is possible to run a raindance team with only one raindancer - and a raindancer that doesn't even have damp rock. While Swellow is a surprising raindancer, when your opponent realises it's a supporting bird, he's not going to get many chances due to his frailty. Because of that, you won't get many turns of rain, and without the rain, Croagunk is going to fall much faster, while Kabutops isn't quite so menacing anymore (nor will an Omastar be, if you do swap it for Octillery).

IMO, you should get a second raindancer... and consider dropping Swellow for something that can actually set up the rain more than once before dying.
