UU Team Centered on Spikes/SR

This is my first team for Generation 5, and it's UU because I always liked UU. It is somewhat centered around the idea of spikes/SR/toxic damage.

Froslass (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 HP / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Ice Beam
- Destiny Bond

My dedicated lead/spin blocker Pokemon. I'll generally make it a suicide rush for 2 layers of spikes unless I see a spinner on the other team. Taunt stops other entry hazards and slower stall Pokemon. Ice Beam is used when a faster taunter is on the other team (usually Crobat). I don't use Destiny Bond that much, most people seem to predict and avoid it. I was considering replacing it with Shadow Ball but I don't really know what that would accomplish.

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Taunt
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Substitute

One of my most used Pokemon on this team. I use him for a lot of different purposes. Sometimes I'll use Prankster/Substitute to scout enemy sets. SubSeed is for forcing switches and to stall out with Toxic. I originally had an attacking move over Taunt, but I find I need that to prevent other Pokemon from Taunting.

Crobat @ Life Orb
Trait: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Heat Wave
- Air Slash
- Sludge Bomb
- Nasty Plot

Along with Heracross, he is one of my clean-up Pokemon. I will usually wait until a Choice Pokemon is locked into a Bug/Fighting move to set up my sweep. Originally it was Modest until I lost a few battles due to Ambipom being faster. Crobat is also used to counter most fighting types and forcing switches. I was considering switching this to a set with Roost/Whirlwind to cause more switching, but this set has swept a lot of other teams so I an hesitant.

Claydol @ Iron Ball
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Trick
- Earthquake

My spinner and SR user. Usually I use Claydol to counter Raikou as well. HP Ice/Grass don't seem to do much unless they are boosted. Originally I had Leftovers and Toxic instead of Iron Ball and Trick. I got rid of Toxic because I already had Whimsicott and Empoleon with it. Trick/Iron Ball is also used to cripple Pokemon which threaten to sweep. I've considering giving it more Def EVs instead of SPDef since I find I switch him into a lot of physical attacks, but then I'm worried about Raikou.

Heracross (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Heracross is my physical sweeper and he tends to finish off the battle in the late game along with Whimsicott and Crobat. In most battles, I will try to KO enough Pokemon so that Heracross can finish them all off. I will rarely bring Heracross in until the end, to prevent him from being crippled.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Roar
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Toxic

My Kingdra counter and Physical Wall. I use it to force switches and Roar the Empoleon counter that is sent out. Empoleon walls a lot of Pokemon so he tends to get a lot of successful Roars.

For most games I try to layer Spikes/SR and spread the Toxic around until it's safe for Crobat/Heracross to sweep.

One change I was considering was putting Krookodile over Heracross to deal with Xatu.

Ok a quick few comments:
-You might need a spin blocker (froslass doesn't really count cuz its designed to die early on)
-Special crobat is sooooo insanely weak and could easily be replaced by something like nasty plot azelf. Your crobat set also gets 100% shut down by rhyperior.
-Keep empoleon specially defensive. With the plethora of physical fighting types in the tier it isn't a very reliable physical wall.

Couple things:
- I agree with mosee V, Empoleon wasn't born to take Physicall hits and you shouldn't never force him to do that. Change him to specially defensive and give him Stealth rocks.

-I suggest you to take defensive Cofagrigus>Claydol. Because Claydol might not have a change to set up rocks when he's always OHKOed by Megahorn(Heracross). And I'm not sure do you need Rapid spin support, since you already have two mons who can stop opponent setting up entry hazards.

-I disagree with moose V on special Crobat. Because I have seen couple of those and they have worked, and it's also surprising to opponent. But if you run special Crobat I highly recommend you to change Sludge Bomb to Giga Drain (If you don't, then Rhyperior eats your Crobat). Here's calculations with Crobat using Giga Drain to 252 Hp/ 252 Sp.Def / Carefull Rhyperior

252 SpA Life Orb Crobat Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 218-261 (50.23 - 60.13%) -- 80.86% chance to 2HKO

+2 252 SpA Life Orb Crobat Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 441-519 (101.61 - 119.58%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Hope I helped and have fun with your team :)
