UU team. Help me out UUers!

I've been testing this team for a couple of days now, and it has around a 70% success rate on the OU ladder. Strangely enough however, i've only been in a single UU match with it, and my opponent left after Rotom crippled 3 of his/her pokemon in 4 turns. Because of this, I was hoping that some people experienced in UU could give me some advice. So without further ado, here they are:

Timid@Choice Scarf

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Will-O-Wisp
Trick

The star of my team, and the reason it does so well in OU. Gengar lead? Better hope it's scarfed or sashed. Gyarados? I'll burn the inevitable ground or electivire switch-in. Weavile, T-Tar, Garchomp, Hippowdon? Burned. Bronzong, or Blissey switch-in? Trick scarfed. Obviously none of this applies in UU, but you get the idea of what I want to do with this thing. In addition to its crippling abilities, it can come in easily, is fast, and has an excellent double stab to work with.

Jolly@Leftovers
130hp/176atk/188spe
Leaf Blade
X-Scissor
Swords Dance
Baton Pass

The EVs give me 300 speed and 300 attack because i'm not sure what numbers to shoot for in UU. This is a great late game sweeper, although the enemy's Air Force must be shot down before it can be successful. One of the problems with this is that I almost never use baton pass, so that slot is basically open.

Bug Buzz
Energy Ball
Psychic
Stun Spore

Buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz! Hello mosquito! Geek points if you know what I just said. This is the second star of my team, and like Rotom, it is one of the UU pokemon that works very well in OU. Bug Buzz 1 or 2HKOs practically anything in OU (heatran, blissey, snorlax, clefable are notable exceptions), so imagine how good this must be in UU! Stun Spore is a good 'fishing' move (throw it out there and see what you catch) in the early game. Energy Ball for Swampert, but I hear Gastrodon and Quagsire are quite popular in UU. Psychic can go pound sand if you can think of something better. I never use it.

Flamethrower
Energy Ball
Hypnosis
Nasty Plot

This guy can either kick serious ass or be hampered by poor type coverage (it is utterly walled by dragon and fire types). I'm not expecting too many of these in UU, so perhaps it isn't so much of a problem. Anyway, this is kind of like a special leafeon in that is is mostly a late game sweeper (read: after Rotom does its thing), but it can also come in and sleep a threat. Unfortunately, that threat almost always ends up being sleep talk heatran, but we're talking UU here.

Adamant@Leftovers
Dry Skin
252atk/252spe
Focus Punch
Cross Chop
Sucker Punch
Substitute

Me and tighty-whiteys here have a love-hate relationship. I want to say he's easily replaceable, but he's perfectly capable of sweeping entire teams. Even OU teams. He can either die instantly, or exterminate with extreme prejudice. At worst, hes completely unreliable, and at best, he's a loose cannon that gets the job done...sometimes. He's freaking incredible in the rain. I'll leave this one up to you, but I will say that sucker punch has saved my ass more times that I can count, and I can count pretty high. It's somewhere around the number 49 that I start to get confused.

dpmfa028.png

Adamant@Leftovers
252hp/176def/82atk
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin

EVs listed give me 354 Hp, 281 atk, 300 def. This needs replacing, as he comes in, used stealth rock, and dies. Every once in a while he can catch salamence or something with a stone edge on the switch, but every once in a while isn't good enough. Of course, OU isn't UU, but i'm still looking elsewhere. Gastrodon perhaps. Suggestions please!

Well there you have it. Please let me know if i'm missing anything critical to UU play.

in UU you will deffinately be hindered by fellow ninetales IF yours goes down after a nasty plot it can pretty much take down anything. Sandslash can be easily replaced by claydol with calm mind earth power etc. i see no other problems you COULD put in venasuar with light screen and leech seed, as a tank that could work too

Yes ... quite a few things actually

1) Under Smogon's current tier system Leafeon is designated as BL.

2) Half your team is weak to Flying attacks, and your one resist (Rotom) is not sturdy enough to repeatedly switch into to either Swellow or Dodrio ...

3) Both Venomoth and Toxicroak are vulnerable to psychic attacks, which are more prevelant in UU than OU but you have no resist ...

4) Once Ninetales is down, half yor team are vulnerable to fire attacks Venomoth, Leafeon, and Toxicroak (Dry Skin) ...

5) Your team is incredibly offensive, but has no real means of countering status such as T-Wave on Venomoth/Ninetles.

Some solutions

1 & 5) Replace Leafeon with either Meganium and Vilplume both of whom are sturdy and can offer support with aromatherapy

2 & 3 ) Can be recitified with a steel type, Probopass would work well as he has high defensive abilities and resists both types

4) Might be eased a little by dropping one of your special sweepers (Rotom, Ninetales or Venomoth) for either a bulky water type or Altaria (who incidently could also serve as a cleric).

No Venusaur is also BL ...

Wow, can't believe i didn't catch that. I must have read Glaceon as Leafeon or something. Oddly enough, it has been practically useless compared to the actual UUs on my team.

Ill take your advice and propose these changes:
dpmfa479.png

Timid@Choice Scarf
252spe/252spa
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Will-O-Wisp
Trick

Holding on to this for dear life. I love it to death.

Calm@Leftovers
252hp/36def/220spdef
Energy Ball
Aromatherapy
Reflect
Synthesis

Leafeon's replacement, and the spread is taken right from the smogondex except geared toward special defense. I'll tweak it as i gain experience.

dpffsa049.png

Timid@Choice Specs
Tinted Lens
252spe/252spa
Bug Buzz
Energy Ball
Psychic
Stun Spore

Like Rotom, this is just too effective to toss.

dpffsa038.png

Timid@Leftovers
252spe/252spa
Flamethrower
Energy Ball
Hypnosis
Nasty Plot

See Rotom, Venomoth.

334.png

Adamant@Life Orb
Natural Cure
72hp/252atk/184spe
Dragon Claw
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Roost

Toxicroak's replacement. Fire resist and stuff. I'll try the DDer out first, and if it isn't working i'll go to something more defensive. Again, i grabbed the spread from the dex and will tweak as i see fit.

414.png

Brave@Leftovers
252hp/252atk/6atk
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Curse
Metal Burst

I could see this working in UU, especially since ground and fighting moves are an excuse to get Rotom in to cause havoc. Altaria can switch into either of these types as well. I'll never use Probopass.

I'll test this team out a good deal tomorrow, but any input is appreciated!

Without Hidden Power Meganium can be more of a liability than help.

With only energy ball as an offensive option you offer free switch ins to Bugs (Pinsir, Scyther, Venomoth), Flyers (Dodrio, Swellow), Fires (Ninetales, Rapidash), Dragons (Altaria) and Poisons (Nidoking, Toxicroak), all of whom can be potenitally deadly ... and your walled by opposing grass types.

Obviously there is no hidden power that covers all threats but conisder

HP Ice: Altaria, Flyers, opposing Grass types
HP Rock: Bugs, Flyers, Fires, Altaria
HP Ground: Fires, Poisons
