UU: Tectonic Plates

Well this team actually has nothing to do with Tectonic Plates, but my name obviously does. :P I'm new here so, hi. Hope I did everything right with posting this. Hope you guys can help me out a bit since I've been losing quite a bit lately (due to hax somewhat, and sometimes just to being outplayed), but I'd really like some helping with this team. If I have to switch out mons I will, etc.

Glaceon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 HP/6 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Ice Shard
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Electric/Rock] / Wish

Starts out the battle by taking out their lead and if it happens to be Sashed they're being KO'd by Ice Shard, or if they're in low HP from the first hit. I know a weird lead, but it does quite a nice job of taking out a large amount of Pokemon to start off the battle and give me a quick advantage. Ice Beam is for STAB, Ice Shard finishes off low HP mons. Shadow Ball for Ghosts (mostly Froslass) and Hidden Power Electric for Waters and Rock for Articuno who annoys me. Not sure about the last slot, but it works for now as I'm usually just using the first three.

Leafeon (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Knock Off
- Leaf Blade
- Yawn

This a weird set yes, but Leaf Blade/Aerial Ace give all the coverage I need. I've tried SubSalac before and it didn't really work with me, so I stuck to this. Leaf Blade OHKOs so much you wouldn't imagine. Yawn is for when I know I can't hit them and I can just easily switch out as they do or watch them fall asleep.

Hitmontop (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 162 HP/252 Atk/96 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Mach Punch
- Fake Out
- Stone Edge

Pretty standard. I put the 96 EVs to catch other Hitmontops (that are running lower speed) off guard and hit them with Fake Out/Mach Punch. Stone Edge for coverage, Close Combat for Clefable/bulkier normals.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/124 Def/134 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power

Both the screens provide subpurb coverage, it also sets up Stealth Rock and I chose not to use Rapid Spin and go with Earth Power because I could actually hit things back at times, but it isn't the best thing. So I might go to Rapid Spin as I seem to see a lot of Stalling Teams lately in UU.

Banette (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 252 HP/116 Atk/142 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Will-o-wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Knock Off
- Thunder Wave

I've had a lot of Pokemon here. Originally it was Lanturn, then I had problems with ghosts so I went to Rotom, didn't fix it, went to Froslass, eh, then I found Banette and he works to perfection. WoW/T-waves mons that need to be broken down in speed or attacks. Knock Off they're item becomes useless and Shadow Sneak for STAB against ghosts.

Clefable (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 240 HP/220 Def/50 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Softboiled / Wish

One fun Pokemon. I usually switch her in under Reflect, after that I'm surviving the strongest physical attacks (sometimes even Close Combats) and Explosion many times. It's pretty basic: set up Calm Minds then swing my bat away at the opponent. Softboiled/Wish for recovery. And also, I use Life Orb so I can get a nice boost in power without having to pay the price.

Yea, so, rate my team? D:

Not really much to say here, as this team is fairly standard, but there is a couple changes you could make.

Put a pair of Choice Specs on Glaceon, it's pretty much the best set it can do. With almost 600 Special Attack and STAB Ice Beam, you can seriously dent anything in the UU tier. Shadow Ball hits Hypno and Grumpig while Hidden Power Fighting hits Probopass and other Steels. The last slot is filler, probably Sleep Talk or Wish. Remove the Choice Band on Leafeon, and make it a Wish passer, to keep your Hitmontop healthier. Yawn will force switches so you can get in your Hitmontop or Glaceon safe. Put a Life Orb on Hitmontop, it needs the extra oomph to get some crucial KOs. The aforementioned Leafeon will keep Hitmontop healthy enough to keep revenge killing. Clefable should have Softboiled, not Wish, as Wish is generally a poor recovery move if you don't have Protect, Yawn, Thunder Wave or some other means of stalling for that precious waiting period.

And finally, you will have a problem with Swellow, as you pack no Steel or Rock type. Facade will 2HKO your entire team except Banette, but Brave Bird will OHKO it. It's typically a good idea to have a Rock type somewhere in UU as those birds can get pretty dangerous without one. As much as I love Banette you should probably get rid of it for Magcargo, Steelix or Probopass.

Magcargo has Flame Body and Recover, which when paired with Lava Plume allows him to spam burns everywhere. Steelix is just super tough and can wall for a long time, even without a recovery move. Probopass is a good special wall, and can trap and kill Aggron, Steelix and other steels. All of them make excellent Swellow switch-ins.

EDIT: I realized you have no Fire resist on this team. Definately go with Magcargo or Probo over Banette, Light Screen will only go so far protecting you from boosted Fire Blasts.
