I really wanted to use Mega Abomasnow, but I've never been able to get around the combination of it's low speed and terrible defensive typing. My solution? Make a Trick Room Team. This team is centered around SD Mega Abomasnow, so I can sweep through teams under trick room. I also ended up accidentally creating a hazard-stacking core along the way. Heres the team, and if anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear them.
Mega Abomasnow
Abomasnow-Mega @ Abomasite
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Wood Hammer
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
Mega Abomasnow can become an absolute powerhouse with only one SD Boost up. Ice + Grass STAB is also pretty nice. It's main problem is it's low speed, which is remedied by Trick Room. By using this pokemon with Trick Room, I can destroy most pokemon.
Chesnaught
Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Roar
- Drain Punch
Chesnaught has nice defenses and attack, and it can stack spikes on the enemy team's side. It can also use leech seed to recover health and use roar to stop set up. I also ran drain punch for extra recovery.
Bronzong
Bronzong @ Normal Gem
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
Bronzong is my first Trick Room Setter and my rocker. It gets up rocks, sets up trick room, then it blows up. Gyro ball is only there if it has a chance to do more than Explosion before I set the Trick Room up.
Reuniclus
Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
Reuniclus is my first special sweeping pokemon and my second trick room setter. It can set up Trick Rooms itself, and it can either sweep itself or swap out to something else to sweep. It also has the ability to hit special walls with psyshock.
Sylveon
Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Baton Pass
Sylveon is another strong special sweeper that can destroy under a trick room. With specs Hyper Voice, it can break through anything that isn't a steel type under trick room. It also has extra coverage in HP Fire to deal with Steel Types that try to switch in.
Tentacruel
Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 240 HP / 244 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Acid Spray
Tentacruel isn't as slow as some of it's partners, but that isn't it's main purpose. It's purpose is to spin away hazards on my side while avoiding removing them on my own side. It can also set up Toxic spikes on my side and also break through special walls with Acid Spray.
