UU Turtle Power Team

Alright, I have been playing around with the idea of making a Ninja Turtles based UU team. But as my experience is lacking in constructing anything outside of a weather team, I need some help. Now I will outright admit that the move suggestions and items are not very good, and the overall team fit is pretty lacking. So here it is...

Leo (Blastoise) (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 144 HP / 252 SAtk / 112 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin

The Lead. Aqua Jet Stab Priority helps add the little damage hydro pump wont finish off, and rapid spin to get rid of those pesky rocks and spikes. Ice beam for coverage.

Shredder (Bisharp) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Defiant
EVs: 132 HP / 172 Atk / 204 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Night Slash
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head

Stab Night slash, sucker punch, and iron head provide some strength, and thunder wave helps bring the speed of the rest of my team up with paralysis.

Mikey (Torterra) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Wood Hammer
- Leech Seed
- Earthquake
- Protect

Stab wood hammer brings the power, leech seed/protect add some stalling options, and earth quake for coverage.

Splinter (Alakazam) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Substitute

(Perhaps not the best pick for Splinter, but I liked it better than raticate). Substitute brings the defense up enough to utilize high special attack stab psychic, with shadow ball and focus blast for coverage.

Casey Jones (Marowak) (M) @ Thick Club
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- ThunderPunch

(rather than have two water based turtles, I brought in Casey cause he was my favorite character in the series). The Substitute is a must due to the crazy low defense, but late game physical attacker could be useful. Double edge for hard hit with no recoil, earthquake stab and thunder punch for coverage.

Raph (Torkoal) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: White Smoke
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Explosion

The other possible lead, I have debated this lead for a while, I could get my own rocks up and rapid spin theirs out, which will be needed for type sponging switches. lava plume for stab and explosion is an option for the lead if things go south.

Ok so there it is. Like I said, there is a lot of work needed, but frankly I don't really know where to start.

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
