Hello managers pls buy me for GSC and not RBY :]. I won the GSC Ubers Spotlight Tour and gave support to Hellpowna throughout GSCPL (Our team won) so I have experience in the tier.

Since this tour is dedicated for showcasing new talent, thought it be fun to highlight a couple potentially underrated DPP and Farceus picks. S/o Mashing for helping me with this list.
Regular Ubers:
Milkshook: Got to quarters of DPP Ubers open this year and generally a very motivated player from playing a million friendlies with.
TyCarter: Won DPP Ubers open
DBJ2024: A newer face with a very creative way of building. May not have the results as some of the aforementioned names but deserves a chance to play.
Evakiyama!: Has good understanding of the tier from what i've seen from her games during the most recent RoA DPP Ubers swiss.
OranBerryBlissey10: Played in the last UWC for Benelux, deserves another chance to play.
Farceus Ubers:
Oreospeedruns: Incredibly criminal that this dude went undrafted during DPPPL. Should be starting with how shallow this pool is.
Rookieroobie: While his DPPPL wasn't the best, he is still the most dedicated Farceus players currently.

Heyho everyone, I made 3 of the 4 team logos, for the Cerulean City Mewtwos, Koraiders and Golden Gambits in this order and wanted to share a bit about them:
It took a lot of work but I also learned quite a bit while drawing these. What was important to me here was to try to give all of them a different vibe and try out different methods of achieving that.
I'll take a break from drawing Pokemon and digitally for a long while after this, since I am pretty exhausted after all this work but I'll certainly be back. Analog drawing just feels so different, with all the ways you can hold the pens and brushes as well as the colour mixing or just the feedback of your tool scraping against the paper. For the time I take a break, I will attempt to make some of the acrylic drawings I had in mind for a long time now but never attempted them because I thought I was not good enough to make them the way I want them to be.
I might also make an art thread some time where I can share more details about the process and a few sketches of the in between and the concepts
For now, I'm just excited to be part of this tour as a player as well and will try my best to help my team win!
It took a lot of work but I also learned quite a bit while drawing these. What was important to me here was to try to give all of them a different vibe and try out different methods of achieving that.
The Mewtwos logo, was the first logo I have ever made. I have a few gripes with it still but I think it is pretty decent overall. Idea was to make it very blue since cerulean is a blue tone and the city is next to the water. I had a few other ideas of things to add but sadly I wasn't able to make those look the way I wanted to at the time of making. The learning process here helped me a lot with being able to realize my other ideas down the line tho.
The Koraiders logo definitely took me the longest since I had to scrap my first idea after putting in a lot of work. It's form is also really difficult to get right, even more so from a perspective like this (which I really underestimated) on top of having a Deoxys on it's back. At first I wanted to give the Deoxys it's usual more matte and lighter colours but I figured it would be best to have them be the same as Koraidons, since you want to have a unified range of colours for a logo. In general I think the Akira Slide is a pretty good motive for a team named Koraiders as in riding it. The street on the bottom also has Koraiders written on it in roman letters and in Katakana on top, to mirror the style of the Akira cover art . On top of that, I think the DeoS' Spikes are a sleek little add on
For the Gambits one, I tried to use a different type of shadow. That idea turned out alright here but I think that is something I wont do in future logos again since those should have a more simple look. Also the first time I attempted to draw an unclear homogeneous background element with out a clear definition to it's contour and I have never really tried to draw metals or shiny objects, so this stack of gold coins in the back is the first time I tried either of those. The Roulette wheel with the Supreme Overlord Numbers as a border came to me as a spontanious last second idea. In general I am contempt with it but I think it is just a bit over designed with too much going on for a logo
I still have a long way to go in terms of Logo design, since all of these are more or less paintings with a bit of text on them, which is not really what you want to do for logos. When I look at what all the amazing logo Artists on this site produce, they always have a more limited colour palette, clearer shapes and a perspective that more clearly directs your eyes.

Well, that's the end of my tenure playing for the Mewtwos this UWL. I have so much to say, and so many thanks to give, but I must start with my managers Hack Highlord Astounded: Y'all dropped 9k on a guy who was 2-4 in SV (and all time). I learnt more than I ever thought possible, and had an incredible amount of fun, and none of it would've happened if you didn't draft me, so thank you for that.

Everyday when I hop onto the team server, I take inspiration from your attitudes of holding yourself accountable for your plays, and doing everything you can to give ideas, ask questions and provide support for slots other than yourself. While the sheet record may not reflect this, I think both of you did an incredible job playing wise, and it was an absolute pleasure to team with you. Wishing you the best in future tours!

i'm gonna do a short s/o post. Thanks to my managers Raph369 Perry and Thor for drafting me. I was one of the very last picks of the tournament and honestly didn't believe that i'd be picked in the end. Ended up in 3-3, so i'm pretty happy with my performance.
Huge s/o to my partner in crime stunner047, helping me build all weeks, even supporting my wildest shit (tho tempering me when i was going too far). Also thx to the rby fellas in my team Milkshook and AM, it was a blast teaming up with you guys.

Competitively speaking, I think the tier is in a nice shape rn. Development around SD + Twave M2 are very interesting, redefining the pace of the game. I can't wait for the next tournaments featuring RBY Ubers. Cya around yall!

My first ubers team tour(i played uwc before but probably cancered half of the tour) and as a person that doesn't usually like team tours this one was pretty fun I have to accept. Thanks Raph369 Perry Thor for picking me and sorry for using whack teams but tbh I feel like mons is more fun that way. Aberforth been a pleasure playing ss alongside you hope to see you in future! Hmm aside from that idt I was much active in the discord cause of me being busy with life atm but regardless good job team. ALMOST FORGOT - The Strap we played like 3-4 times i guess? I had a lot of fun in all those games hope we get to be teammates sometime in future
