Well this is my third Rate My Team i've made and this is my most succesfull team. It's a very typical offense team that I would like some help touching up/adapting to suspect play. I can't remember how to get sprites into this topic so I hope your willing to put up with a plain format fitting for a plain team such as this.
The team consists of an Azelf, Scizor, Salamence, Heatran, Gyarados and Metagross. It aims to try and make holes in the enemy team to help get either Gyarados or Metagross to set up and Sweep.

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Flamethrower
- Taunt
A Typical Azelf Lead I chose this because of the ever important Stealth Rock and beeing able to help prevent rocks (Which Gyara and Mence hate oh so much) Flame throwers there because I don't want to risk misses as much early game and the stuff that tends to come in gets hit hard enough for for my tastes. Explosion is there because I love using Explosion. However Azelf cant handle Tyranitar or Machamp leads unless I Explode ASAP and miss rocks. Those two are also some of the most problematic pokemon an enemy could have for my team (I think). I was considering putting Psychic on to stop Machamp but TTar is still a threat and Rocks are to dangerous to let happen. But I can use some advice for this lead.
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Generic CB Scizor his job is to Bullet Punch/U-Turn and not afraid of anything. Superpower is nice for scouting Magnezone although the other steels on the team can handle it well if needed. He's ussually the first thing I toss out after Azelf Explodes to help scout. It also lures Fire attacks which Heatran can take advantage of. I am considering using Iron Plate for CB bluffing but i'm not sure if it's worth it.
Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 16 Atk/252 Spd/240 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage
The Potentially uber Dragon thanks to the 3 steel types I have he has a good chance to get in scot free on an EQ and rape face with his many moves for coverage and generic stab. The Abundance of steels on my team give me some safe fall backs if something dangerous comes Mences way. I need to find a good member to take Mences place on Suspect but it looks like a near impossible slot to fill seeing as the replacement would need coverage high damage and EQ Immune or Resist.
Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Ice]
My primary revenge killer HP Ice is there to deal with Zapdos and Dragons who might be a little to over Zelous and Flamethrower over Fire Blast because I don't want to risk misses as much. Earth Power is for Coverage and Explosion because I love it and it can let a weakened Heatran to take a victem with it.
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP/72 Atk/96 Def/184 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
A typical DD Gyarados that takes advantage of the members to try and DD so it can sweep. It's able to come in for reletively free due to the ammount of EQ/Fire weak pokemon I have on this team. EQ is there over Taunt for Type coverage and because I wanted another more reliable attack in addition to Waterfall/Stone Edge. Azelf usually blocks SR so I am not to sacred of pulling him out early game to threaten/sweep/Force things out. This guy could use a bit of help as well.
Metagross @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 112 HP/252 Atk/12 Def/132 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Thunderpunch
One of my personal favorites (Although I am sad I can't stic Explosion on it) Moves are to maximize damage and coverage. I used to use Explosion but then enemy Gyara had a much easier time with my team so I gave it Thunder Punch. Thanks to the rest of the team I can search for Gross threats and determine if Gross or Gyara will sweep.
I really think I could write more for descriptions but it's kinda hard to when your team uses really generic mons. I appreciate any and all advice I recive and I know i likely missed several threats.
