[SET COMMENTS]
Vanilluxe plays the role of a Hail setter, which in turn allows it to set Aurora Veil. Which is appreciated due to the offensive nature of the type allowing its sweepers more room to setup. Blizzard allows Vanilluxe to hit neutral threats for decent damage, while Freeze Dry allows it to take on Water-type Pokemon such as Toxapex, Seismitoad, and Gastrodon. Taunt prevents slower Pokemon from using their utility moves such as Toxapex's Toxic Spikes and Hippowdon's Stealth Rock. Light Clay allows its screens to last longer. Its EVs allow it to hit as fast and strong as possible. Vanilluxe should be used to set up screens during the match, especially early-game, allowing setup sweepers such as Cloyster have an easier time setting up.
Setup sweepers on Ice teams such as Cloyster, Frosmoth, Weavile, and Rotom-F appreciate its ability to set Aurora Veil allowing them to set up easier. All Ice-types appreciate its ability to break past Water-type Pokemon such as Pelipper with Freeze Dry. Galarian Darmanitan can break past Steel-type Pokemon such as Aegislash that Vanilluxe can not break past as well as providing invaluable U-turn support being able to bring in teammates to take advantage of Vanilluxe's screens. Mamoswine and Galarian Darminitan also appreciate Aurora Veil allowing them to tank more attacks. Avalugg provides Rapid Spin support clearing hazards of the teams field. Avalugg and Piloswine can serve as defensive pivots for Vanilluxe.
