With solid defensive stats, an excellent typing, and a wide array of incredible support moves, Vaporeon cements itself as one of the dominant defensive Pokemon in SS RU. Its ability to pass large Wishes to teammates and take on a wide variety of foes, like Salazzle, Copperajah, Rhydon, and Passimian allows Vaporeon to easily fit on many different teams. Scald prevents physical wallbreakers from freely switching into Vaporeon. Protect allows Vaporeon to scout Choice-locked attackers, gain additional Leftovers recovery, and receive its Wish safely. Multiple different moves can be chosen for the final moveslot depending on what Vaporeon wishes to accomplish. Heal Bell is the most preferred option, ridding teammates of debilitating status. Ice Beam can be used to deal meaningful damage to Grass-types and Toxicroak. Toxic allows Vaporeon to put foes that it otherwise can struggle against, such as Jellicent and Virizion, on a timer. Lastly, Haze can be used to remove boosts from bulky setup sweepers like Snorlax and Scrafty. 56 Speed EVs let Vaporeon outspeed maximum speed Adamant Rhydon, making it a more reliable switch-in.

Vaporeon appreciates having Fire- and Steel- type teammates, such as Ninetales, Salazzle, Steelix, and Copperajah, to check Grass-types like Rotom-C and Vileplume and cure their status with Heal Bell. Grass- and Ground-types such as Rotom-C and Steelix can comfortably take on Electric-types for Vaporeon. Vaporeon also appreciates Pokemon that can beat Toxicroak, like Mudsdale, Choice Scarf Passimian, and Choixe Scarf Indeedee. Entry hazards can put pressure on Vaporeon easily, so removal methods from Pokemon like Rotom-C, Decidueye, and Silvally are greatly appreciated. If not running Haze, slow setup threats like Scrafty and Snorlax can use Vaporeon as fodder, so countermeasures to them such as Passimian and Bewear work well. Silvally-Fairy can absorb Knock Off seeking to remove Vaporeon's Leftovers and check the aforementioned Scrafty.

With solid defensive stats, an excellent pure Water typing, and access to a wide array of incredible support moves, Vaporeon cements itself as one of the most dominant defensive Pokemon in SS RU. Its ability to pass large Wishes to teammates and take on a wide variety of foes allows Vaporeon to easily slot itself on many different teams. Scald prevents physical wallbreakers from freely switching into it; if physical Virizion, Dhelmise, or Boltund are burned, they will struggle to break through Vaporeon. [can change examples to also include Fighting-types like Bewear that really don't want to be burned]. Protect allows Vaporeon to scout Choice-locked attackers, gain additional Leftovers recovery, and receive it's [please learn it's vs its, friend x.x] Wish safely. Multiple different moves can be chosen for the final moveslot depending on what Vaporeon wishes to accomplish. Heal Bell is the most preferred option as it allows Vaporeon to rid it's teammates of debilitating status. Ice Beam can be used to deal direct damage to Grass-types and not leave Vaporeon deadweight against Toxicroak. Toxic allows Vaporeon to put foes that it otherwise can struggle against, such as Jellicent and Virizion, on a timer. Lastly, Haze can be used to remove boosts from bulky setup sweepers like Snorlax and Scrafty. 56 Speed EVs let Vaporeon outspeed maximum speed Adamant Rhydon, making it a more reliable switch-in; the rest of its EVs are invested in its physical bulk.

Vaporeon appreciates Fire- and Steel- type teammates, such as Ninetales, Salazzle, Steelix, and Copperajah, to check Grass-types like Rotom-C, and Vileplume. Additionally, powerful wallbreakers like Silvally, Bewear, and Virizion appreciate Vaporeon's ability to keep them healed with Wish and cure their status with Heal Bell. Grass- and Ground-types such as Rotom-C and Steelix can take on Electric-types comfortably for Vaporeon. Silvally-Fairy can also absorb Knock Off seeking to remove Vaporeon's Leftovers and check the aforementioned Scrafty. [sentence moved]

Its ability to pass large Wishes to teammates and take on a wide variety of foes (such as?) allows Vaporeon to easily slot itself fit on many different teams. Protect allows Vaporeon to scout Choice-locked attackers, gain additional Leftovers recovery, and receive its Wish safely. Multiple different moves can be chosen for the final moveslot depending on what Vaporeon wishes to accomplish. Heal Bell is the most preferred option, (comma) ridding as it allows Vaporeon to rid it's teammates of debilitating status. Ice Beam can be used to deal direct meaningful damage to Grass-types and not leave Vaporeon deadweight against Toxicroak.
